I didn't know where to post this, but this should do.

So would you be able to date Rogue, knowing that you couldn't be physically close to her? This is ignoring any canon where she's miraculously lost her mutation.

I guess you could always have Leech sit nearby with a magazine and some headphones while you rock the casbah.

Rogue has more problems than just her inability to have sex. I dont think I could stand the constant whining about it. It really shouldnt even be an issue when Forge can develop something to nullify her powers and he has.

seriously. all the angst with rogue and her powers can easily be addressed, and has, but she just doesnt want to be happy. because she is a ****e

I fail to see how she's a ****e if she never manages to really sleep with people? I think at one point someone addressed it as she's scared to hurt other people but even more so is scared to be hurt herself. Though I can't remember where I read that.

^ i agree with you, she might just be afriad of getting hurt and/or hurting some one else.

Ask Magneto sometime. Or Joeseph, or colossus, or iceman, or Pulse...
she would hardly be considered a ****e as nothing happened with any of those guys. She got close with Magneto and Joseph but not that close. She and Iceman were just friends and that pairing was never really explored. Pulse was someone pushed on her and the attraction wasnt mutual. It was a moot point as he was booted from the books not long after being introduced to her

I never understoodwhy no one has thought to use a condom.:o

Because there are more of a guy's body than just his penis that will inevitably touch her during sex?

And refer to the first post, no, I wouldn't want to date Rogue even if I were a guy, she's become too self-absorbed for my liking.

Rogue could have used any one of 10,000 temporary ways to neutralize her powers and stop b****ing about it the whole time, but she has psychological intimacy issues. I mean, we're talking about a girl who has no reason to keep her real name a secret, but has told absolutely none of her teammates. Storm's XSE crew probably thought "Anna" was fake.

I dont get why Gambit nor any of the other X-men suggested she used one of the power inhibitors. Joseph at least did although he went through some pretty complicated means to do so when its really simple

You knw they have those kinky looking body suits that cover the full body with the sexual areas "easy to get to" if you know what I mean.:o

And then the guy will die as soon as he puts it in.

Not with a condom and the sexual catsuit/body suit.:o

I'm just thinking the options other than the power inhibitors even though I don't know why they've yet to use one.

She became romantically involved with each person up there. Even with Pulse, she went as far as holding hands and snuggling under a tree while gambit was wandering around, driven insane by Apoc' machines.

She was romantically involved with Iceman and Pulse? Thats news to me. She and Bobby were friends and got close on their road trip together but nothing came out of that. I liked the potential of them together, but it amounted to nothing.

She meets Pulse for the first time in X-men 181 and he's out by #186. In that short time, the most he did was touch her hand. Snuggling under a tree? Are you referring to #182? They were hardly snuggling. The only physical contact between them was Pulse touching her arm and he had gloves and she had her costume on. He wanted her thanks to Mystique but Rogue rejected him. She wasnt interested in starting something up and made that clear before he finally left

Nononononononononononono.

So many reasons, but today I'll pick that creepy romance with Magneto/Joseph. Friendship my ass. Seriously.

Wearing something like that would totally ruin the romantic feeling, I always think Rogue is the romantic type, because that kind of suit looks rather silly imo.

The color scheme just screams 'mood killer', really.

Hell, think of Gambit wearing his fuscia outfit while going at it.

Epic LOL.
