Could you survive...the dreaded...

I would have to say of all the zombie movies...I like the Resident Evil series the best. The T-Virus is very well explained as well as all the zombie's features of existing.

The first one works as a Resident Evil 00, but the second one is total crap. The only thing they did right was Jill Valentine. The third one does look halfway decent though.
I like the new Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days Later more.

Agreed

28 Days Later took me out of it when we got the gratuitous weiner shot. That and the shaky cameras made me sick to my stomach. I think 28 Weeks Later looks like a cop-out of the original just to make money so I didn't go see it.

I've only seen it on TV, so I never saw that part.

Only two times and I say yay. I'm sick of gratuitous boob shots.:o

28 Weeks Later is actually really good. The plot is simple but very watchable. And be on the lookout for 28 Months Later

You're missing ou on Cillian.
He gets a  from me. :woot:

LOL!
I've been meaning to buy it, I might now.:cwink:
I wanna go see 28 Weeks Later, but there's so many movies coming out and I just got new job.

One more question...a zombie's body is dead...so wouldn't the flesh continually decompose. So after a few years...all it would be was bones?

That makes sense. Flies would tear them apart too. I would imagine that the dominant species would be come the fly after all of humanity is wiped out.

Okay, a bit of a survey...if you could carry three weapons, what would they be? And be realistic...nothing like a bat, rocket launcher, and flamethrower combo.:o

Sword, automatic weapon, and maybe a pistol. I mean the sword can do a lot of damage and never need reloading.

I'd carry a metal bat in my hand, a handgun in a holster, and a sword in sheath on my back. I think swords or blunt objects would do more damage than a gun, but you would have to get close to use it.

If it's a Romero zombie.....baseball bat, boombox w/Celine Dion CD, and a 30/30.

Well even after a zombie outbreak occurred, there would be a certain time when all the well protected people would survive, and the growth of zombies would cease. All they would have to do is technically wait a few years until all the undead decomposed and ceased to exist...because their bones can't do anything without flesh and muscle tissue.

I'd say a crowbar, probably a 9mm Beretta, and a good ol' M1 Garand for long distance shots.

Depends on the the type of zombie

I've actually thought about this question before.
A handgun with numerous ammo, an axe(can also work as blunt instrument), and of course a sword(I'd steal one from a Noah's Arts)
I don't consider this a weapon, but I always carry a lighter also.
Also, wherever I'm at I can MacGuyver a weapon.
Thanks to Dead & Breakfast, I know how to make a homemade shotgun.:)

It would actually take more like one-two months or them to decompose enough, if they aren't in cold or dry climates. But the stench would be horrendous.

Against the slow walking zombies = I can go on with my daily routines if I wanted to. :o

Against the sprinting zombies = :csad:

Bear Grylls and me could take them
