Could you survive...the dreaded...

"the romero zombie": see 4 dead movie, shaun of the dead etc

this is the most common zombie, is extremely slow and has little to no higher brain function(unless trained see example bub).there have been reports of zombies learning how to use weapons such as small fire arms and blunt objects, though if this is repressed memory's or learning new skills is unknown. these zombie can be easily dispatched in a one on one confrontation, its the numbers that you must be wary of. to kill destroying the brain or severing its connection to the body, usually with a gunshot or a large sturdy clubbing weapon
Severing the head stops the body yes, but you do need to destroy the brain as the severed head would still be undead.

Also eating factor: They eat anything that is living, including animals

"the enhanced romero zombie": see dawn and day remakes

this zombie much like its cousin, has all of its weakness, but one strength that places it into a separate more dangerous category, its speed and strength. these zombies when sighting a prey have the ability to produced feats of strength and lighting fast reflexes to obtain there goals. for dispatch techniques see the romeo zombie
I don't think we can count these as Day remake zombies just yet.
Planet Terror zombies could also possibly fit this description.

Eating Factor: Apparently Humans are the only living things in danger of the zombies

"the pusdo zombie": see 28days/weeks later and the resident evil series

often confused with the romero zombie these creatures are actually humans that have been infected with disease or virus that gives the impression of death and reanimation. the cases vary with the zombies ability's being some where between the romero and enhanced romero depending of the virials source. dispatch techniques are the same though in special cases the body's must be burnt to stop a second coming of a more lethal creature. See crimson heads resident evil remake

I actually think these two should be in different categories because the Resident Evil zombies can have 2nd comings but the 28 Days/Weeks Later zombies don't. Also with the 28 D/W L zombies, when infected, they will turn instantly, best advice is to kill right away.

28 Days Later Eating Factor: Humans only according to 28 Weeks Later
Resident Evil Eating Factor: Anything living

" the smart zombie" see the return of the living dead series

the most lethal and dangerous version of the creature zombie. These zombies seem to take elements for all other forms of zombies, in that they are fast, as strong and intelligent as they were in their previous life, and can form words despite their physical degradation. these zombies eat the brains of the living as a was to stop the pain they suffer from due to being dead. dispatching these variations can prove to be extremely difficult as It appears that injuries to their brains do not have any effect, and the only way to fully destroy them is to cremate their bodies, although the ensuing smoke spreads the contagious gas 2,4,5 Trioxin that re-animated the corpses to begin with. other known resources to destroy these creatures is to wipe out the infected area with a nuclear bomb, though this will also kill any human survivors within the area
Electricution also works on them.

Eating Factor: Anything living

I also feel we should also include the
"Alien zombie" see Slither, The Faculty and Night of the Creeps

These zombies are not the flesh eating type though they will kill you or try to use you as hosts for world domination. Slither/Night of the Creeps possess you via an alien worm entering orally, in The Faculty they enter through the ears. These zombies are just like humans, hard to distinguish who is and isn't one. Killing of the alien queen will either free the infected or kill them. Either way, find the queen and kill her to prevent world domination.

Eating Factor: None, but they will either try to possess or kill you if you're in the way.

I think is dumb when they say zombies only target humans. Why? I want an explanation.

I got a 51% survival rate on a zombie apocalypse. Basically it would depend on how stupid my group is.

I really don't like Zombies so the first chance I got I'd kill them on the spot.

Bring it on :o I'm ready :cmad:

Yes, but could you survive Zombie Coke-head Lohan?? dun dun duuuuuun

I'd remove the stitches from her mouth and rape her :)

You're sure you'd want to unstitch the mouth of a zombie?

Has anyone played Resident Evil Online?
I feel like they made these civilians stupid.
