CRAP there is no IMAX in Vienna?? I was just thinking that I could go and see TDK in there... I live in Slovakia, (TDK opened like a month agoin here ) we have no IMAX anymore either

There aren't any 3-D scenes, so I wouldn't waste my money on that.

I did go to Imax and I wish I had known that previously.

bb did very well on dvd sales and was shown twice on ORF (austrian television) already, both times with big audience ratings. so I really don´t understand your point here. bb is well known in austria and no one I know didn´t love it.
(although there are a few friends of mine who still refuse to see tdk because of b&r)

that is completely ignorant , unless the reasoning is that this franchise will eventually go the same route once nolan and bale move on.

in germany the movie is top!!!!!i saw the film at the 29th of juli in a press-showing!!!i love the movie like the most people here...its probably the best batmanmovie...but we still have more people than austria^^batman has a awesome start in germany!!!!!!

Yeah I know that there are no 3D scenes, but still, Ive heard it is way better in IMAX than in a "normal" cinema. But you apparently dont agree, do you?

Yay, it finally went out in Austria! I've been nudging my friend back there to see it asap

IMAX would seriously be a cool to watch TDK.. It's still on is it?

I was on my holiday when I went to see TDK in a local cinema. It was really a crap place to see it in - The cinema screen is way small, The sound system muffled - and I had to depend on subtitles for that. The crowd wasn't as enthusiastic as they should be, and they did annoy me at some point talking out loud at the back. But then again, I think it's they it was their second week showing. That's pretty crap for my second time.

I went back from holiday to find TDK showtime period just finished. Now I'm stuck with my last experience in that awful place. I'm surely going to buy the DVD once it's out.
