Cult of Chucky

I love the Child's Play 2 teaser. :woot:

Don't **** with the Chuck.

Seed Of Chucky was a disaster. Curse Of Chucky redeemed the franchise. Like someone said, hope they stick with the horror side and hold back the comedy.

So this happens 4 years later from Curse of Chucky, So if andy needs to get past Tiffany does that mean Tiffany is back in Doll form?

Don't see how since she is now in Jennifer Tilly's body. Unless something happened in those 4 years that she ended up back in the doll again.

Tiffany's inclusion worries me a bit. It was her intro into the franchise that made the movies more comedic than horror. Thanks to her being absent for the bulk of Curse, the movie was better off for it, and took Chucky back to his dark roots.

I think Tiffany was great in Bride and the comedy in that film works, it's a lot of fun. Then when they got to Seed they took it way too far and it just was horrible.

Bride is fun and a decent movie, but it's much more comedic than the first three Child's Play movies, and I believe that was down to Tiffany. Giving Chucky a gf and them becoming this little Bonnie and Clyde doll couple changed the tone of the franchise.

I think the Curse of Chucky did well was to bring back Chuck to horror, and it did it with good results. Not a perfect movie - but enough to get a 82 percent on Rotton Tomatoes, something that I would never fathom with the series. It's sorta like the Fast and Furious (Fast 4) to get things back on track, after the Seed of Chucky.

I never said it wasn't much more comedic, I agree the tone changed after 3. And Tiffany coming is a reason. I'm just saying for myself I love Bride and the humor/tone change. When it got to Seed for me that's when it became too much, hate that film.

Seed went too overboard, when it should've stuck to the dark humor.

Shame they're making another one. Curse had the best ending to the series.

Haven't seen Curse yet. I want to. Wonder if they'll hook up Nica and Andy in this new film.

Cult of Chucky? I hope he's got disciples like a tiny plastic Charles Manson:woot:

Chucky is back. Hell Yes

Love some Childs Play. Hated Seed but loved Curse. That film felt like the tone of the 88 film.

I thought Tiffany was a nice addition but when they let her give birth to Glen it really jumped the shark. It felt like Childsplay turned into a cartoon.

As cool as it is to see Andy back, Nica was actually a cool character in her own right. So I'm excited to see more of her.

Alex Vincent and Fiona Dourif on set;

A Chucky movie in winter setting (other than the original, sort of) is making me water at the mouth.

Glad to see those two again.
