I cant get over how well Somerhalder's acting is in this scene. From the classis Damon devil may care attitude, showing so much sadness without tearing up, to turning around and seeing Alaric where he gave this "Oh sh**" to "Oh well" look

Ya but i want to see Caroline and company graduate before they have to go into hiding.

They're seniors now right?

Ya they are seniros this year, so unless we pick up 6 months later, I would like to see the usual graduation episode. Even if they do it in the middle of the season and then skip ahead a couple of months.

I assume they'll pick up right where they left off, like they did with the end of season one and the beginning of season two.

If they show them graduating. How could it not end up with Vampires attacking the graduation ? Like that Buffy episode

His show cult got picked up so we won't be seeing much of ghost Alaric
next season.

cult is a CW show so it should be easy to get him to appear as a ghost if he's got some spare time.

it looks like it will pick up right where it left off according to tvline's interview with julie plec.

TVLINE | So she’s definitely becoming a vampire?
They’re going to try to pull out all the stops to try to prevent it when we come back, but I think the writing is on the wall as far as her journey.

When did Meredith inject Elena with vampire blood? I thought you need to have vampire blood in your system before you die? Didn't she die first?

She injected her when Jeremy brought her to the hospital since her case was more severe than Jer thought.

If Bonnie doesn't tell the group immediately about klaus, then she deserves to die...

She never died at the hospital. She was dying at the hospital

That was at the beginning of the episode, right? So that mean she did die in the car at the end in order to have waken up with the vampire blood still in her system?

You got it. She died in the car at the end. Never before

Why? After everything she has sacraficed for them and not to mention she just saved ALL of their lives. Damon/Stefan/Katherine/Caroline/Tyler/ and probably Elena now would all be dropping dead if she hadnt done what she did. Not to mention that she just put Klaus on an even playing field with the others now.

And while Elena will be able to defend herself better now, it wont be that much better since age is still a big factor for vampires in this world. If you are older then you are stronger. So all she can really do is run away.

I wonder what Damon did with Alaric's stake. I mean, I know he was grieving, but if that mother****er lost it.... :argh:

You do know that Tyler is not Tyler now right ?

Yes but if Klaus died so would Tyler. Klaus being in his body is just temporary for now.

I read about Elena's turning happening in the books, so I've been waiting for ages for Elena to turn (and everything that happens after this sounds like so much fun!). Predicted or not, it was still well done acted & well filmed, good work to everyone.

I can't remember enjoying this much character exploration in an episode all season. The brothers, the originals, Forwood, frikin Evilaric, so much to say I wouldn't know where to begin!! so many questions that are still needed, but first the props

1) Mad props to Matt Davis for making Valaric the smoothest smooth criminal since Klaus! That's how you make a great villain when they can take the simplest of concepts "let the humans do their jobs freely" and reek total chaos on our heroes with it! At a few points I caught myself almost hoping he'd win.

2) Best. Damon. Episode. Since. Season. One. Period.

3) I don't condone what Bonnie did, but I understand, either let Klaus live or let the entire main cast die. Bonnie saved the series! Way to be useful and not boring at the same time for once. Mad Props!

I'm glad they used the time to compare and contrast how the brothers each love Elena in their own ways, and it reminded me why I'm still Team Stelena. Though he can sometimes come off as being weak, I get it, but I appreciate that Stefan is the one who is willing to respect Elena's decisions and treat her like an adult even if he doesn't like her decisions. Damon is a hot, fast, and heavy affair certainly overflowing with passion; sometimes it's the best thing for Elena to be challenged but, I still feel like he doesn't appreciate that she has a mind of her own.

Wow. That's all I can say.

I didn't have any high hopes for the finale but it blew me away, even got a little misty eyed at some moments. Damon and Alaric owned this entire episode and I loved how he [BLACKOUT]stabbed Klaus just like that, not fond of the body-switch though. Getting tired of Klaus.[/BLACKOUT]
Also, it took me a few minutes to realize what happen at the end. Can't wait for the next season.

I'm hoping for a full on Evil Bonnie storyline next season.

TV Line:
Question: I know it’s a little premature, but anything on the new season of The Vampire Diaries? —Pam
Ausiello: Elena’s “death” will weigh heavily on Matt and Jeremy. As EP Julie Plec notes, “I think that’s the worst tragedy of all is that they plotted together to get her out of town so she wouldn’t have to be part of this life. And now as a result of having been on that bridge at that moment, Matt is basically responsible in his own way for her being the one thing she never wanted to be. He’s going to carry that very heavily. It’s going to take his some time to get past that. And I would say certainly Jeremy, who would never want this for his sister, is going to have a real, real visceral reaction against Rebekah for what [she] did. There might be a little bit of retribution.”
Jeremy waging war on an Original?.... I mean, I get it, but can he really handle that?

Just a random thought... what would happen if Elena wore Jeremy's ring now while she's in transition? She's not a vampire yet and thus not technically dead yet. And since dropping dead at the end of the 24-hour transition period would be technically mystical, wouldn't she just get resurrected?

The ring doesn't work on her period because the doppleganger is a supernatural being in and of itself.

I just watched the last 7 episodes on a marathon mode of sorts and holy **** it was amazing.

I want Klaus gone so bad. For a villain book fans were ****ing themselves over. He's been nothing but a minor annoyance and a dull character.

Also that **** with him and Caroline is not cute.

I don't quite agree with all that. If he was played by a lesser actor, I probably would have grown tired of his **** months ago, but I always find that Joseph Morgan brings something more to the role. He's just engaging.

Now, personally I could do with more Esther. :o:hrt::up:
