I'm certain Milo has some sort of Marvel role based on his tweets, and Punisher seems like the best bet. That and all of DeKnight's teasing about the Punisher makes me think he'll definitely show up in some capacity.

Don't think I'd want Milo as Punisher.

Punisher is meant to be one of Marvels most intimidating "heroes". He's meant to look like he has literally been through wars. Milo is too pretty for my taste.

What about Clive Standen?

Yeah, I think he could do with looking a bit older so that he seems more world weary and has seen too much. He's not bad though.

I like Milo tho he does seem a little soft and pretty. Mostly the Frank in my head has always been a little older and grizzled and that's causing a disconnect. No reason the makeup department can't rough him up though.

Agree completely. Just because he's got some Italian heritage doesn't mean he's right for the role. In fact, I HATED him trying to act all gruff and tough when he voiced Wolverine. It was beyond forced and contrived. They're much more on the right track with Jane and Stevenson. In fact, Stevenson looked the part perfectly. It's such a shame he wound up attached to such a turd that they'll wanna distance themselves from it. Same with Jane. His "Dirty Laundry" short from a while back was amazing, but he'll never be given the skull officially again.

So do you think that they will cover DD's origin in the first couple of episodes? I really like DD's origin. Also Fixer and Slade are good starter villains for DD to deal with.

God I hope so.

I'm even a fan of both Punisher movies, but he's too good of a character not to interact with the rest of the MCU.

I imagine they will. We know Jack Murdock has been cast(we don't know who yet), and Stick has been cast, so I'd imagine they'll be doing the origin. I really hope we get to see the Fixer, and Slade. Its such a great origin, it would be a shame if they left it out.

I could see the punisher as being the wildcard of the Defenders team. Maybe he'll start off with them but then takes something too far and causes the team to turn against him, similar to his role in Civil War

Btw, anyone who was wondering if Marvel will let Daredevil be as graphic as it should be, if you watched tonights Agents of SHIELD you'll have your answer.
