I'm still not entirely convinced this is the final final suit. They've mentioned in several interviews that it goes through stages.

I wouldn't be surprised if they released this for people to think it's final, but there's actually more changes done by the end of the show.

I'm leaning that way. But I don't see him getting another outfit this season. I'd love to be wrong though.

He might pop up in Defenders with a more evolved suit. Especially if they take place in "real time," like the rest of the MCU seems to do.

I just caught a trailer revealing the suit from the official Daredevil page on my Facebook feed. I guess it is now no longer a leak and is now officiall marketing.

It was actually never leaked. This all came straight from the Netflix launch page.

That's cool! However, in the article he doesn't say that Creel will appear on screen (unless I misread it... it's early), so I'm still hoping for that.

Yeah, I'm starting to think the plan was always to reveal the red suit today, on the last day of marketing, but someone at Netflix just jumped the gun and posted the image a little early.

I think the suit works I actually like the DD movie suit better but this one still looks good.

Well for us it screwed up the surprise reveal, but from their perspective there are probably feeling there is still a lot of the general public not anticipating this show, and showing the costume on the cover is part of them saying to them "Hey this is a Marvel Super Hero show that ties in to the rest of the MCU, so you will not want to miss it". Where as the black costume were they to use that might suggest it is a separate universe or perhaps not even based on the Daredevil comic character, since the character is mostly known for his red costume. Not to mention despite our disappointment with the costume being revealed and not being surprised by it during the show, it does create a lot of hype for them on the day before the launch, so to them it is most likely winning and the smarter marketing strategy.

Well I liked the design of the movie one perhaps slightly better, but did not like the material they used for it. Combine the Design of the movie with the material of this show and it for me would be just about perfect.
