We'll be able to tell by how fast they greenlight season 2.

They should never put another show on ABC

ABC is the studio behind this show:sly:

Its just you have less limitations off of broadcast television. Its a dying medium(broadcast tv) with cable tv shows, premium tv shows, and subscription based tv shows outdoing them in every way.

Netflix is very slow this morning, so I couldn't get a chance to see it yet. Going to try again before I go to work.

So for those that have watched Daredevil, how difficult would it be for him to fit into the MCU movie universe?

Not too much, it's clearly set within that world - the tones are very different though. I'd say it'd be a fairly easy transition for Matt though - he's someone who just wants to do good, so to stand up for what's right in Civil War or fight to save the world in Infinity War would perfectly suit the character

TV series. A lot of TV shows simply don't have memorable themes or scores. Also, a lot of modern comic book movies do not have memorable themes either. Case in point, the Iron Man films. The Thor films. Incredible Hulk.

? Being a TV series doesn't matter. A lot of films don't have memorable themes or scores either. Just as much, if not more than TV shows.

There are plenty of live action shows and cartoons with amazing music and memorable themes.

I think the first Iron Man, Captain America 1, and Avengers had great music. The rest of the MCU music is complete garbage. I love Daredevil more than any character so I just wanted them to nail the score, and they haven't. Ah well.

The 2003 Daredevil score was composed by Graeme Revell. Awesome drums and dark tones. Worked amazingly with the character, but lost was lost in a sea of evanescence and other early 2000s rock.

Man this show is great. I'm only past the first episode and I'm already in love with this.

Thus, why I stand behind my prediction that broadcast tv networks will join DuMont, WB, and UPN in the televised pearly gates in 40-45 years time. So many factors, so little time

I saw some idiot on CBM saying the acting sucks and is as bad as the acting on most CW shows. I still haven't seen a full episode but that's bullsh** if I've ever heard it. That scene of Matt in the confession booth is already some of the best acting I've seen in any superhero adaptation, film or TV.

Another wayward troll who wouldn't know taste if it gave his fingers gangrene?

Yeah, that'd be my guess. That place is a haven for trolls. I know we have our fair share here, but it's nothing compared to that cesspool.

Seen the first episode, i love the pacing, the atmosphere, the danger, the great acting from Cox and company. If the quality is like this til the final episode, this is definitely the best live action superhero show ever.

About to fire up episode 10, my binge is still going strong. This is an amazing show and no way in hell does it not get some Emmy nods. The acting, writing and fights are on a different level than anything out there right now. I keep saying but each episode gets better than the last and that's a hard thing to do. I'll be sad when I finish it in a few hours but I'm already planning another binge watch of all 13 episodes on Sunday because it's that damn good

Damn it, I should have taken off work today, lol. All I want to do is stay home and watch Daredevil.

I'm thinking I might take a break once 10 is finished - only about 15 mins to go. It's fantastic but I've never watched anything for this long

I actually feel asleep after watching Episode 4 got like a 5 Hour Sleep peroid woke up at 9 and just continues my Binge I might be finished with the whole season today.

Only one episode in but already loving it. I love the tone and style of it. Certainly the bleakest thing Marvel have attempted so far (in a good way). Reminds me a lot of Batman Begins which can only be a good thing in my book.

CBM is definitely a haven for trolls, but I'd say IMDB takes the cake. And as some one who used to frequent the Soapbox, that place is like the Hell's Kitchen of the internet.

Dam guys this show is.. dare I say ground breaking? I'm really impressed it just doesnt feel like a "tv show" at all.. not really a fan of AoS, Flash, Arrow or gotham I tried to watch but I couldnt get into it so when I heard about DD a while ago I doubted it (DD is 1 of my personal favs btw). As a fan of the character I had to stay up and watch the first 6 ep & im just hooked! cant wait to grt home from work gonna load up the bong & it finish the dam series !

ps-That opening scene when the crash happens & he starts yelling gave me the biggest MCU vibe :)

Finished the 1st episode. I know this is a minority opinion, but so far I don't think this show is as mind blowing as a lot of people are proclaiming. Is it good? Without a doubt. The style and tonal qualities are in line with some of my favorite Superhero films and TV shows (Batman Begins, Arrow). I just don't think it's anything spectacular...yet.

Its one episode, seems like many are jumping on board with the hardcore love at episodes 2/3

It's funny to think back on that thread when people were saying, "Why can't this get the feature film treatment?" After seeing how much more room Daredevil has had for character development and world-building, people migt start asking about Marvel cinematic properties, "Why can't this get the Netflix treatment?"
