Last year, most of the casting announcements came at last year's NYCC.
And I think while Rosario Dawson being Claire Temple was a disappointment initially, it has turned out to be a good thing because she's going to appear on Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
And so the questions remains: will there still be people furious that Luke Cage is a TV series instead of a movie? I didn't understand the outrage against those four as TV shows rather than a movie. It gives the characters a lot more time for character development for 13 hours instead of 2 or 3. Also, 13 hours is essentially 6.5 movies, which is two trilogies.
