Is Bullseye still gonna be in season 3? If so, we should probably hear about his casting soon

You say this as it has been talked about him officially appearing? I can't recall any such news, other than maybe Cox wanting him to be on the show?

Anyone here fans of Hart of Dixie?

Wilson Bethel has been cast in “Daredevil” Season 3 at Netflix in a series regular role, Variety has learned exclusively.

The exact character Bethel is playing is being kept under wraps. It is known, however, that he will portray an FBI agent who will play a critical role in the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, better known as Daredevil and Kingpin respectively.

Bethel is best known for his role on the CW series “Hart of Dixie,” playing Wade Kinsella throughout the show’s run. He also played Ryder Callahan in the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” and Cpl. Evan “Q-Tip” Stafford in the HBO miniseries “Generation Kill.” Bethel has also appeared in shows like “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Harley and the Davidsons,” and “Bates Motel.”

I wish I could remember which character he was in Generation Kill since that's the only one I've seen. I hope they aren't making Bullseye an FBI agent, but I'm also willing to see what they do with it.

I do think we've dealt with the major Daredevil cops. Manolis already appeared, right?

I honestly don't see how they will do [BLACKOUT]Born Again[/BLACKOUT] in season 3 as some might think. It just doesn't feel right to me.
Yes, the borrowed one scene from that particular story but I think that's all we're gonna get for now.
It's gonna be interesting to see how they'll handle [BLACKOUT]Matt being dead though[/BLACKOUT].

I hope that Matt contacts his friends and informs them that he's alive as soon as he's recovered enough to call them to say "Hey I'm alive, come and pick me up!" because I don't want more of this thinking of "I must separate myself from those I love in order to protect them".

I'm curious about 2x08 and have to ask, what if, instead of Karen, it had been Foggy who'd found Elektra in Matt's bed? Elektra and Stick were complete strangers to Karen, whereas Foggy is somewhat familiar with both of them: he knows Matt dated Elektra in college. Furthermore, Matt told Foggy about Stick in "Nelson v. Murdock". Would Foggy have at minimum given Matt a chance to explain things? Would he have pushed Matt to come clean with Karen? What do you think would have happened?

After watching Punisher, it really made me realise how much better Daredevil was when it's more grounded and real. We really need to never see the hand ever again in this show.

I never watched Hart of Dixie, but I distinctly remember this guy being brought up a few times for Captain America and thinking "really?" This sounds more his speed, lol.

You're missing out. Hart of Dixie was great :D Really can't imagine him as Cap though.

It's more that the character has strong ties to Daredevil so people expect that he'll turn up sooner rather than later. Just hope it's part of a great story and they don't just shoehorn him in just to be there.

This guy hey cast is giving me major Bullseye vibes...

You created a thread and now you're bringing it up in this post?

I'd love to hear why. I can see it physically, but I'm unfamiliar with the actor to know the kinds of characters he typically plays. The character description isn't particularly close, that's for sure. So I'd love to hear what makes people think Bullseye.

I don't know if I did anything or if this is part of Disney making it's own streaming service.

I can't find any marvel shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones on Netflix anymore.

I even checked my parental controls

NVM: it was parental controls

I was thinking about this a bit today. In a season 1 episode there was this sniper working for Fisk who people speculated was actually Bullseye. I went back and watched it again and he arrives as part of a swat team, and not FBI though, so it's possible they aren't connected. Unless he's actually FBI for real but Fisk was able to get him to that scene "in disquise" thanks to his connections. It would make sense for Bullseye to part of law enforcement, as it's a place for him to hone is markmanship skill.
I'm just thinking outloud here.

If he's not Bullseye though, I guess he's gonna somehow end up looking into this blind lawyer who turns up again after being declared dead. Not because Matt himself is an important man but because he has ties to Fisk, and this FBI agent is actually investigating him, and Matt catches his attention.
If that's what happens then he most likely will come close to figuring out that Matt is actually DD.

I hope this FBI guy makes Brett end up having more importance within the plot.

Bullseye has to appear in Season 3, right? All the other major characters have appear except him.

We know that Wilson Fisk is returning for Season 3 of Daredevil. How long ago did you learn that you’d be a part of Season 3?

D’ONOFRIO: I can answer part of that question. They’re all very secretive over there. I have a standing agreement with Jeph Loeb. We made a deal, before the first season, that I could come in and out of the show. We made an agreement that we would give each other a head’s up, throughout the years, so they’d know my availability. So, we picked a particular amount of time that he would give me the heads up on, if they needed me to come in. That particular amount of time, I won’t tell you, but that’s the agreement that we have.

How are you feeling about the scripts that you’ve read, and how do they compare to what you’ve done previously on the show?

D’ONOFRIO: It’s hard to top the first season, with Steven DeKnight’s writing, but Erik Oleson (the new showrunner) is a very good writer. I’ve shot some pretty cool scenes, so far. It’s different, but it’s very Fisk. It’s still very emotional. The character is evolving. His whole deal is based on emotion, so we’re taking him down that role further.

Has prison changed Kingpin’s mind-set, or does he have the same goals and focuses as before?

D’ONOFRIO: There are new focuses and new goals. That’s all I can say. If it was up to me, I would go on and on and on about it because it’s so interesting, but it’s so important to them, for us to keep our mouths shut.

With all of the roles that you’ve played, over the years, and with all of the characters in the Marvel universe, how cool is it to hear how much people love Wilson Fisk, as a stand-out character?

D’ONOFRIO: It’s very cool. I love the idea that I get to play him. I wanted to do the right thing, and I want to keep doing it. I remember the first season and how all of the Daredevil and Fisk fans were talking about it. It’s a big deal to them, and that really inspired me. It really brought my enthusiasm up, a lot. Their interest and their enthusiasm helps me do the best I can. I can only say that we’re doing things that are just going to blow the fans away. We’ve already shot some things that are just going to be neat for the fans. There’s some awesome things that are very much in the history of Fisk and Daredevil, that people have been waiting for. We’ve already put some of that stuff in the can, and there’s a lot more to do. I think they’re gonna be very happy.

If so, it's a total surprise. Could be saving him for season 4.

But considering all the fans wanting him, hopefully we get some appearance from him even if it's only to set-up a larger role in season 4

So they started filming in October. So we will see this released in late 2018. Whether that will be October or November, who knows

I hope it's not that long. :(

JJ season 2 is out in March. And Luke Cage season 2 will be out for this. I doubt this could drop any sooner than September 2018. Though it could if Netflix would really get on its JOB and release asap

Do you think there's gonna be Season 4 though? I assumed that each show (including The Defenders) will get three seasons each, before they move on to other projects. But of course, if any of the Netflix characters deserves a fourth season, it's Daredevil.

First NYPD permit signs were only spotted in early November, around the time of The Punisher's release.
