DAREDEVIL ROLE FOR BRADLEY COOPER?

BRADLEY Coooper is being lined up for a Daredevil role.

The Hollywood hunk is the hot favorite to play blind Marvel comics crimefighter Daredevil in a movie franchise reboot.

“This will be very different to Ben Affleck and his go at Daredevil on film,” says a movie insider.

“Daredevil is an exciting character and a unique challenge for an actor. Bradley is top of the list of actors to take the lead role and it sounds like he’s interested.”

Cooper — who’s currently dating Renee Zellweger — recently admitted women never try to chat him up.

“I’m usually trying to catch their attention,” he said. “Oh Jesus, anything."

Pattinson getting the role would only bother me because of his age. That, and it would speak poorly of the demographic they're aiming for. He was pretty good in Harry Potter 4, and did the best he could with the material he was given in the Twilight movies.

Some studios decide the story they want to tell and then hire a writer just to flesh that story out/come up with dialogue and whatnot.

Garret Hedlund for Matt Murdock/Daredevil? I like this... A lot. My friend actually mentioned him two days ago for Daredevil I thought Matthew Fox would be cool, but I guess he's getting old.

Micheal C. Hall is still my favorite pick... But if they go with Hedlund... I'm totally cool with that.

No genuine value or vision is being put into it.

Hedlund as a lawyer? Not seeing it. And i noticed he doesn't yet have 'leading man' star power when i saw Tron Legacy (which i loved).

I agree, this seems like such a rush job to squeeze in before losing the property. It's a shame.

I've been on the Hedlund bandwagon for Daredevil the whole time, and posted as much in the "Casting" threads. I've always thought he was the best fit.


I HATE Twilight, but I actually think Pattinson may turn out to be a great actor. I just don't really like him for Daredevil now.

Garrett Hedlund or bust for me.

Hedlund has landed some pretty plum roles in serious films lately so he must have something to impress the casting directors. I can't comment as I haven't seen much of his work, but I think he could pull this off.
