Sorry, Michael Clarke Duncan was just not a very good Kingpin. The movie was a disappointment yet people are still in denial about it.

Sure, the movie was certainly as dissappointment but MCD in my mind wasnt. He wasnt perfect my any means, but he was the best actor available at the time with both the acting skills and the physical requirement needed.
Of course, if you can offer a better alternative available in 2003, I'd be all ears.

This is true.but then there goes the acting thing...
Exactly, all that I could think of at the time were wrestlers. MCD was as good as we got, maybe still. As much as I disliked MCD in the role, I can't think of anyone that could have done the role justice (including MCD).
I mean...even today, who can play this guy?

Intelligent, Martial Artist the size of the biggest sumo wrestler.....and can act.
I'm of the opinion that they'll need to get a wrestler...have the guy shave all his hair and have him wear some kinda suit.
i think mat damon would be good matt mudrock. he can fight just watch bourne series. i think he would do good as dear devil iwould also get john goodman as kingpin. he looks just like him.hes goodactor.
Trust me, as an Englishman who's seen Ray in a lot of things, I'm in a position to say that there's only one type of character that Winston can play and that's not Wilson Fisk, in that the Kingpin isnt a London gangster/cockney wideboy; that's all he can play and even in that he's become but a caricature of himself of late.
Last time he played American was the Departed, wasnt it? His 'American' accent was shonky as hell.
