I haven't really done many wishlists before, but I recently did a DD for another forum, so I figured I'd add it here.

I really believe we'd get a much better Daredevil experience from a TV series than we'll ever get from a movie, so I decided to fancast it with that in mind. My approach was to pick and choose between all eras of DD for the characters I would want to see on a regular basis, and also to have six main cast members with a rotating roster of recurring characters. I also felt like it was better go with less of a well known actor for Matt. (And heck, heaps of people have played multiple Marvel characters now, so why not someone from Thor getting a second go? )

also for people to stop making the same suggestion. you're a dexter fan, got it.

If you keep seeing Michael C. Hall being suggested, then I'd respectfully suggest that it may well just be because he's a popular choice.

Additionally [whether they're Dexters fan or not] if they think they've found their man there's absolutely nothing wrong with people voicing so, just as you'd no doubt expect to be able to do the same with any actor that you ultimately deem to be a good fit.

It's weird because Hulk, Blade and Punisher were able to revert back to Marvel after 6 to 7 years after the last movie attempt by other studios.

I think it's because the reboot is in production though. If there was nothing, marvel would have had it.

..And now, of course, David Slade is rebooting the franchise with everyone from Xavier Samuel (“A Few Best Men”) to Taylor Kitsch (“John Carter”) said to be in contention.

its because they weren't actively working on sequels to those movies...Fox is actively working on a sequel...a director was chosen and people are working on the script

Not a big fan of Kitsch as Matt. Dunno much about Xavier Samuel, other than the fact that if he played DD, he would be about the youngest kid ever for the role. Hell, he doesn't even look like he graduated high school yet, let alone law school.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at that cast, but I'm still baffled by why D'Onofrio keeps getting fancast as Kingpin a lot. I don't think he can rock big, bad 'n' bald at all.

Also, Eliza Dushku is a little too wispy to play Elektra. But at least she's more Mediterranean than Jennifer Freakin' Garner. Personally, I'd shoot for Elisabetta Canalis to do Elektra some real justice:
