The Dark Knight Dark Knight Site Updated!

you don't mean the car picture do you? please tell me you don't.

I hear ya, I hope Heath wasn't forshadowing his future; then it would be even more tragic.:csad:
yeah. also the quote i used at the end of my tribute. "and time is the essence, you know. it is THE most valuable thing in this life. and it really has to be worth it these days.."

if they had any sense they should reopen whysoserious.com as a heath shrine and let people carry on uploading their photos.

Yeah..............Heath's death is hard, but with all these tributes it's hardcore on the heart.:csad:

Very nice tribute, and very very true words written.

I really wish I knew what the studio executives were thinking about right now. On how to move forward with the marketing campaign.

whysoserious.com

A nice little ribbon. Click the pic.

That does seem very new. When I looked last night, I think they still had those links to the trailer. At least I think it was last night.
It was just in the past hour. Someone noticed they had replaced the Joker poster with the exploding bat symbol a few hours ago.

They're definitely figuring out stuff as they go, but it's a very nice sentiment. :yay:

Saw it once, now it won't load, white screen. Someone screen cap it?

Its very nice. I like that the official site has the memorial and the viral site has a black ribbon

Is that picture of Heath from the set of TDK. Never seen in it before.

Very touching. Too bad its all a smokescreen, they are probably jumping up and down b/c this tragedy just added at least another $25 million to TDK's BO.

As this does affect their business, I am sure they are considering the impact of the film's bottom line, marketing approach, and so on. However, I seriously doubt there has been any 'jumping up and down' over Ledger's death.

There are circumstances in which an artist's death is secretly (or not so secretly) wished for by collectors and investors. This is a cliché in the world of fine art, particularly sculptors and painters. But it's not true here. If anything, the box office 'guarantee' that Ledger represented is now lost to producers and directors looking for backing for their projects. So there's no morbid or cynical happiness to be found among that group. And Ledger seems to be universally liked among those who knew him on a day to day basis.

Yes, the death brought some attention to the Batman project, but so what? They've lost this Joker forever. That's a tradeoff no one would have wished for. Besides, the film was getting plenty of attention anyway, thank you.

I don't think this tragedy has brought many... uh, smiles... to many faces. It's a damn shame, and there's no silver lining or hidden agenda.
