fyi... I pronounce it "wahmpoom".

1) Wompam (sp) is indian currency... and some friends and I spelled it wrong when forming a band in high school. At one point we were the Southpaws (all 4 being left handed) but WompuM was usually our moniker. So I used it as a username back in 2003 and here we are today.

2) WompuM is mupmow spelled backwards. Though the original translation has been lost for centuries, historians maintain it means the stuff you pull from your bellybutton.

3) I pronounce it Womp Um. Or almost Womp 'Em. Soft U. But you can pronounce it how you choose.
