Well, ladies and gents... like the sweet release of semen at the end of a porno film, this is indeed the grand finale of the 2006 Kipobe Awards. And just like a porno, people said I wouldn't see this through to the end, I'd get all excited at first, increasingly bored, and be playing tetris just as the rest of you are getting excited... but instead I was here for the finish, and even though it became more boring than foreplay, I give the the gush-buster in my closing post as this year's host.

2006 Guy of the Year:

Well, let's keep this short and sweet. The same investment of time and thought went into this award as it did with Girl of the Year. So this 'guy' had to be a person who was almost the 'poster' boy of the Hype! in 2006. Wilhelm again was heavily considered, but suprisingly he was edged in popularity by another. I had NASA run some tests, and this poster was indeed more popular. Although, they also have AIDS, so it's kind of a bitter sweet award for them.

So anyway, this has been the 2006 Kipobe Awards. Next year, we'll have the same 30 categories, but let's face it, it's not gonna happen.... so treasure your pobey's you 30 winners, because in like, 4 years, they're gonna be a seller's dream on eBay.
