The Dark Knight Rises David Goyer calls TDK sequel rumors "All BS"

That sucks about Cher. I was really looking foward to her as Catwoman.

Now excuse me as I get high on crack cocaine.

Sounds like David Goyer the politician. Yes there are plenty of BS TDK sequel rumors floating around. Doesn't mean there is no development on the project going on.

I call BS on Goyer's call of BS...JD and PSH are def in the next one...

Wait... Goyer says now they didn't even talk about it when three weeks ago he said that he and Nolan had already a theme for this? Goyer is sayin' BS too I guess...:o

So all depends on Nolan? even the Superman reboot?

WB owns DC comics. They want to prevent their comic book franchises competing with each other. Marvel for example is a productuin companu but they still need theatrical distributors. Which is where studios like Universal and Paramount come in.
Different thing with WB . They own all the rights and only in some cases do they have work with another studio ( Watchmen is made with WB money and will be distributed by WB in the US and paramount in foreign markets).

Anyway it all comes down to WB strategy of releasing a superhero movie every year. Once Nolan signs the contract for Batman 3 , they can begin working on the other CB movies. Otherwise you'll have the marvel situation of having two ( or more) DC comic book movies released in the same year

They've talked a bit, yup.

All i'm saying is: The Joker is the MOST INTIMATE villain Batman has. Why didn't Nolan go against the grain“Chris and I haven’t even talked about it. He quite understandably is taking a long, long vacation and wants to purge himself,” Goyer said.

Goyer means they haven’t talked about it “officially,” although, of course, he does admit – as he did when we chatted in July – that they’ve loosely bandied about themes and more.

“We have mused here and there [but] I mean Chris is pretty much a one movie at a time kind of guy,” Goyer said. “I wish I could tell you more. There really isn’t anything to tell.”
