I was told it was the one at the 7-minute mark.
Just checked. You mean 7 minutes...or 8? Cause both have a "theme". If someone can give the exact timetrack on the DVD that'd be great.![]()
Well if there is a theme then whats all that crap about Batman not having yet earned one? And dont talk to me like your better than me, moron. The theme exists, genius.
Get out your Batman Begins DVD (assuming you have one and are not merely trolling here), go to the endcredits, and approximately 7 minutes into the credit track, you will hear the Batman theme.![]()

Did they actually say the theme was in the end credits as opposed to the film? Because the only thing I remember hearing is that they intentionally did not have a Batman theme in the movie. They said that they had WRITTEN the theme, but decided not to feature it in the movie because he hadn't yet earned it. However the theme does appear briefly during the endcredits, as almost a teaser of what is to come.

sountrack.net said:In the score to the first film, the main "Batman" theme only shows up towards the end, kind of like a springboard for the second film...
Absolutely, that's the whole idea. It's Batman Begins! There's a whole theme that's written and on purpose not in the movie. We were basically betting that this movie might work out alright and there would be another one, so we wanted the character to develop. He hasn't earned that theme yet! Brilliant tracks for the BATMAN BEGINS CD:
Molossus
Myotis
Tadarida
Lasiurus
Corynorhinus
Vespertilio
And so forth and so forth.![]()
And, my taste is this:

unfortunatly, elfmans music imo wouldn't fit in this new take on Batman.
Yup. Elfman was sort of perfect for Burton's vision and his specific take on Batman, and Zimmer/Newton Howard is perfect for Nolan's vision and his specific take on Batman. Doesn't make either take invalid, just ... a different yet equally valid take on the same character.![]()

People always says that, but you are aware that Elfman or another composer could have taken Elfman's theme and done some re-arrangements to make it fit the film. Heck, Elfman did that for Batman Returns. Listen to the music in Batman and then the one in Batman Returns. Both are different in tone and mood. B89 is dark but heroic. Returns is dark and depressing. And, Elfman also uses a choir which he didn't use in B89 except for Descent Into Mystery.
