Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I think POTA is actually kind of the perfect franchise for Giacchino. Alot of the music he did on LOST would fit perfectly into that environment. Not the emotional stuff, but more when the characters were exploring a new place, like Michael being taken to the fake camp for the Others and such.

I love Giachinno, but it always bothers me when franchises can't keep one consistent composer.

Composer on the Marvel movies are so disposable. Image if each Star Wars film had different composers with different main themes.

Bite your tongue!

Still, more Giacchino is always amazing news.

Same here, this has always bothered me with the Blade franchise, the Iron Man franchise and even more so the X-Men franchise. Its always so good seeing a sequel for the first time and hearing that familiar music.

I just dont see why a change of director must always mean a change of composer, or why more new composers on franchises have to replace the familiar themes of the previous movie. I know its a pride thing, but think of the fans.

Again, I really dig this graffiti.

That looks fantastic.

My mind is racing with the possible story arcs those set pics imply.

Not to mention the apes are riding on horses!

Amazing!

What if Dawn is better than Rise?

The potential for a classic sci-fi trilogy will be within reach.

Or is that me being greedy? :woot:

Wait a minute...apes riding horses..... AND THEY HAVE GUNS!

Holy ******* ****

Perhaps, but it's still sandwiched under a month between Cap and X-men.

Which might steal some of ASM2's thunder.

3 weeks should be more than enough time for TASM 2 to earn the bulk of its money in theaters. Iron Man 3 grossed $337 million in that amount of time and is just now crossing the $400 million mark 5 weeks later.

Or might hurt the other two films.

CA has the Avengers lead in but the first CA film did nowhere near the numbers of any of the Spiderman films.
