Im with a lot of people that dont want to see Apocalypse take over Magneto's body. Maybe a Thanos type of reference at the credits or something in a pyramid coming to life that signals Apocalypse but not posession. Also we need to original xmen to do battle with him and add the new ones.

Not really - in fact, them focusing on the FC cast of characters would make much more sense in the context of Bamfers ending.

Either way, people are already going crazy over a movie that isn't even out for another two years.

It does contradict the ending. Bamfer never said a word about this. And if the past is messed with again the future couldn't be that rosy. Especially with it being Apocalyse. His actions in the past would mess up the future. None of it fits.

Anyway, with Singer's words we can say the rumoured alien ending is fake. I'm glad about that. It sounded soooooo bad.

Well, I never put much stock in that scene description from First Showing but the wording never said he was an alien, but that he had an alien-like appearance.

It could certainly be Singer trying to calm people down who thought they would be going an alien route for Apoc.

Slow down. According to another site OT are in the AOA movie. We have no real answer on the plot or the cast because it's a different story every time. I think most of it is based on what everyone else is saying. I don't actually think anyone has a clue what the storyline is or who's in it.

There has been no report on this being AoA adaptan or featuring OT cast

Let's all be honest it looks like X-Men will beat Batman for quickest reboot

A teenage Cyclops,Jean,Storm,Angel In Apocalpse with James Mcavoy,Michael fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence,and Nicholas Hoult means It needs to be treated as outright reboot.That's totally Inconsent with ages of characters In Trilogy/2023 part of DOFP.

I don't go with this alternate timeline BS like Abrams pulled with Star Trek,and they are apparently do with the Terminator as well.These are nothing more than attempts to fool fans that films or TV shows they are fans of are still relvent to future films.Just call them reboot and stoping Bsing people.

Some welcome this news but since I consider X2 to be bext X-Men film and also value the wolverine,and don't like the idea of them basicly never happened.Which Is what happens with reboots.

The ending did basically say he was an alien (that's why Singer has just said he's not one). And if that's not true then the rest is very unlikely to be. Why would a reawakened Egyptian Mutant be in

I think if that was his intention, he'd say "Leaked ending is false #xmendaysoffuturepast" but he says "Apocalypse is not an alien" probably because he's heard backlash part of which is "Apocalypse is an alien?? Screw that!" and he's just clarifying that isn't the case.

The leaked ending doesn't say he's an ALIEN from outer space. Alien is just a term used to describe otherworldlyness. If he looks like an alien to the character who witnesses him for the first time, it's the best way to describe it. It also seems to go along with the fact that X:A will be focused on the FC cast.

Exactly. But some are determined to believe it all regardless of it just being debunked.

Wrong. I only ever believe a rumour when there's official stuff to back it up. There is nothing to back up Vulture or Bleeding Cool on this. Which I have been saying all along, I've said it's a possibility but we can't know for sure because these are all rumours and these sites get stuff wrong on a regular basis.

I'll believe this when we have official evidence to back it up. I find it unlikely they'd know what the script contains about 18 months before it even films. That's why I've been dubious about all this since Bleeding Cool posted days ago. I'm waiting to get everything backed up.

Two sites have two different tales. That should tell us straight away the info isn't out there yet. And all this also contradicts Bamfer's rumoured ending which everyone believed till now.
