He should just stop tweeting in general. Unless he's giving out pages from the script, why even bother? Ya know?really singer should not have made that announcement a few days ago, i think he was just trying to steal thunder from other films
Personally I never looked at Apocalypse as looking like an Alien. He looked like a big guy in armor with blue/grey skin. Not too different from various other mutants.
Well, yeah, I don't think anyone here thought he WAS an alien. But the rumoured introductory sequence had no hint of the ancient Egyptian first-ever mutant origin and would definitely make casual viewers (and hysterical people on that other CBM site) believe the emphasis was on the Eternal/cosmic elements of the character.
Well his lips are weird and his eyes are all glowy and he's huge with grey skin and wearing crazy futuristic metal outfit, he would look like an alien to [BLACKOUT]Magneto[/BLACKOUT] and the audience probably.
Mystique's eyes are kind of glowy yellow.
Well it saysMagneto is in the desert. Maybe he's in Egypt or nearby? Maybe Apocalypse needs his body to release himself from eternal slumber in an ancient pyramid.
But if he's crashing down from the sky... I think it works for him to be mysterious and alien-like except not an alien. I mean saying "a giant mutant comes crashing down" for some reason I think of the Hulk or something. Saying an alien form is more mysterious and okay as long as he's actually an ancient mutant. But some general mystery there is fine. The audience can go "what is he? Is he a mutant? an alien? a genetically engineered thing from the future?" then in two years they'll find out what we already know.
Yes, but it said thatsomething crashed out of the sky into the desert and finds an "alien form" in the crater
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people actually involved with this franchise (like Fox execs) think Apocalypse is an alien.
mystique still looks human though, apart from colossus we haven't really seen any metal mutants from my memory

t:I don't know what this does or doesn't mean for the OT cast going forward, but I DO believe there is more going on here than we know. Even if that mid-credits rumor is true, that means there is still some element of time travel involved. Maybe Apocalypse takes his horsemen from different times but chooses to plant his major scheme in the past for some reason. I want to stress: We really have no idea what is happening at this point.
Let's all try to relax and enjoy the ride. In Bryan Singer, I trust.t:

It was unusual of them to announce a sequel this early and we're probably not going to get any official news till after DOFP's release.\And neither the producers and cast have suggested the end of OT cast, since July, so... This is not as simple.
The future movies cant be as simple as how its looking right now.
