hey...since ur onto something here with quotes from FC...whats the quote that Charles says to Erik about rage and serenity?

"I believe that true focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity."

You guys. You guys.

I just realized something that might have been obvious to everyone.

But Jean had to leave the jet because her powers interfere with electric... stuff. Like the T.Vs at the museum.

I've always ignored the plot hole because the scene is amazing. But now it makes more sense.

But she used her powers to lift the jet and it even seemed like she was responsible for the systems coming back online...seems she was "interfering" with it quite a bit.

She left the jet.... because she made a choice. A suicidal one.

Jean Grey lifted the X-Jet and probably started working because of Jean too, not Professor X.

Duh? :o

You like to misinterpret my posts, don't you. ;)

That he tends to do.

(might help to read the previous posts to see what we're discussing)

And that he should do.

That said, I should take my own advice. I should never butt into a conversation I was never a part of. :oldrazz: Especially one that suggested Xavier has all these random powers LOL (Hey! A poster asked what someone meant. I couldn't help but butt in!)

Can someone help me write a scene within the danger room? Sorry if this isn't exactly the place for it but you all seem to know everything about X-Men more than I do. Anyway, Cyclops is the leader during the training exercise with Storm, Warren and Beast as second in command of their teams that consists of Rogue, Bobby, Pete, Kitty and Wolverine. I am not very good with describing actions and stuff like that. I do try though.

Now confirmed - no Azazel. Makes sense to not have Nightcrawler either, I suppose, though I can't help wonder why one would set up that family storyline only to not address it in the sequel.

They can still. It works even better without Azazel. Less screen time showing it happen. Mystique can start off pregnant. Dialogue can explain what happened. Magneto may have killed him between movies or something. Baby Nightcrawler can still be in this.

Good. No Azazel. Hopefully no Riptide or Angel Salvatore either.

They're just silent henchman. Might as well show off some different mutants.

its the same interview to Jason, so its not like someone from the studio or Bryan confirmed it.

in any case, I guess we should trust Jason and he isnt indeed appearing

I think it would be a safe bet those two empty space characters are not likely to return.

Personally I think Azazel is a bit of a shame. There wasn't much to him, but he was a marked improvement on the comic version and was kinda fun and it would have been nice to see them link up Nightcrawler's parentage with Mystique and himself.

Though arguably that's better served in a different movie than DoFP and from what I've read about Nightcrawler's chances of being in the movie it's looking slim at the moment also. Which is also a shame, but perhaps he can be in the next one if he doesn't appear in this one.

if they drop Azazel from this movie, it will be a bit harder to develop his connection to Mystique later in the franchise.

This should have been the movie where both work together as brotherhood members, but if he doesnt appear, it will be weird to see him joining Magneto and Mystique 10 years later, in case Fox does a third movie set in the 80's.

This is the problem droping characters from one movie to another, this BREAKS the continuity of characters interaction and development of the relationships.

Same case as Kurt, he appeared on X2 but dissapeared on X3, so we never saw how his relathionship with the rest of the x-men went after X2 events.

Wrong move by the creative team.

Colossus joins the cast, along with two other actors I'm unsure of!

Don't recognize any of the new faces save for Cudmore.

I disagree. While I think it's a shame that Nightcrawler didn't turn up in X3, I don't see how a character not being present for the following movie suddenly makes it harder to bring them back or develop their story later. These are hardly essential characters and both the Brotherhood and X-men are known for their rotating membership roster.

I honestly don't see it as a large hurdle to explain why they weren't around for one a movie.

The girl's picture looks really familiar.

Angel was the worst. Even for X-Men, when she was flying around with insect wings and spitting fireballs, I found it a bit silly.
