It doenst matter his sales, what matter is the boxoffice, and his latest movie is the lowest of the whole franchise, and he is Hugh Jackman, that to me speaks volumes.

Some fans keep naming FC, but that was the first movie of a new cast. The Wolverine is Hugh 5 movie, totally different cases. And I know the foreign numbers, but thats a normal progression. USA case is just the real issue here.

You think solo films of new charactes would have done better than the wolverine domeseticly It didn't have the best promation and come out In late july. most films of last year that time didn't do spectular eather.

Wolverine isn't the only one that can carry his own solo run.

Still on hold cause of the rating. We know the budget now though. $50 mil. And Donner mentioned they will hold that lower budget if it is R or PG-13.

50 mil is great. I wouldn't mind a PG-13 rating because these days you can get away with a lot of things with that rating. With that being said, I'd rather an R rating. If it's PG-13, then release an R-rated cut on blu ray like they did with The Wolverine.t:

Yeah, just like Wolverine grosses more with ensemble X flicks it would be a safe bet that it would work the same with Deadpool and X-Force.

Wolverine has had a solo book since 1988. No other X-man has had solo book as long. Besides I would rather have wolverine In X-Men films than more solo films.

I stand by more option trying to turn every X-Title ever Into a film Is a mistake.

My point is that Wolverine was the most popular X-Men character 30 years ago and he still is now. Now what Deadpool was in the beggining of the last decade? Oh I know the answer.

It's not about her appearance, you know. It's not about appearance of all of them. I just don't give a sh** about majority of Fox's characters because they seem to be so wasted, boring and undeveloped that there is even no comparison to Marvel Studios' heroes who are always great, colourful, full of life and each have his own personality.

Although I don't fully agree that ALL of Fox's interpretations are boring and underdeveloped, you're definitely right about MS's heroes.

A great example is X-men 3. They threw in way too many mutants just as fan wank material. A number of the mutants that I guess were supposed to be considered Morlocks, in a way, they were shoved in for only a scene or two. Psylocke is a great example, she didn't really do a damn thing so why bother putting her in, especially when she's not recognizable and didn't even seem to display her actual powers from the comics. In most cases with MS films, the characters in them are for more of a purpose.

The people who I noticed are laughing or mocking this post of yours are biased and will always trash MS's films to justify their love of Fox's franchise.

I like both and don't get the whole "my" franchise is better than yours from the fans.

My view of films based On marvel comics-which I still consider X-Men and Spider-man- Is based on buying and reading them. And on Internet It's much more fashionable to bash X-Men films. How many times have I heard the

When fans of good X-Men films don't like MS films I don't see us going around like the anti-Fox army. Do I have to mention the FF board?

Now I should have mentioned deadpool with wolverine but I wanted to focus on actual X-Men. Deadpool till I quit buying new comics In 2005/2006 was mostly on his own except for X-force and wolverine appearances. Yes I do know In recent years they put him In uncanny X-force.

Just like the storm BS being cut story they will believe anything.

The FF reboot is hardly first time a character's race or gender has been changed with all these reboots and reimaging.

Come may we will see If the internet reviewers take pot shots at DOFP. Already one on twitter took potshot at First Class to praise Winter Soldier. I won't know till I see that film If praise Is warrented or not.

Agreed. This either or or which is better crap needs to go. I want it all to be good. It is not like you are choosing between the Nazis and the Allied forces. It is not that serious.

However, I am not blind and Fox is clearly in a rebuilding state with their CBMs and still trying to rebuild the goodwill lost with X3 and Origins. Fox has had a lot of past casting and storyline mistakes that it needs to address with X-men and FF going forward if it does not want Marvel to overwhelm them. But Fox needs to do what works for X-Men and FF and not try to copy another studio. I'm not sure what DC is doing, but then I don't think they know either at this point. LOL!

People have their reasons, don't go to those boards. Just stay out of it. I dislike the direction WB/DC is taking Batman vs Superman and have voiced my opinion and participated in flamewars and got infracted at those boards, I just don't go there anymore because I have no interest. You should do the same, stay out of it. Just my advice. Also it goes both ways too, I've seen people here taking potshots at the MCU films and DC films too, 2 sides of the same coin. It's just how it is.
