Superman Returns DC Comics apodts SR costume for Action Comics

As I said almost a year ago, The Superman costume has been changed. Action Comics 849.The cover also shows the new Jor-El.

well on the other hand if you look at the skin you can see that tehre is a filter. the human skin is not magneta. so i think this are not meant to be the right colours.

wow,considering that from that angle the only visible change is the belt I guess you mean the Superman suit in general is a pile of crap as well.

you know me and my feelings towards that belt buckle... ANY design that reminds me of that POS suit design that Singer used, I will always consider it a pile of crap because it's completely unnecessary.

The suit in the movie was amazing, imo. However the raised \S/, while not noticeable in the above pic, in the comics just doesn't look right. I don't mind the belt, but I see no need for it to change in the comics -- so it's just 'meh.'

What I don't like are the damn crystals. I hate the fact that the FOS is now crystals. I hated it in Donner's edition. I hated the fact that Byrne had it for the revamp...the whole icy look. I hated it when Singer re-did it. I can understand using the technology, but does it have to encompass every corner of Kryptonian design and heritage? Even given Krypton's history, I don't see a need for it.

The color change is due to the blue hint coming from the fortress. Blue + Red = ? Purpow, good! So there's no reason to get worked on that issue.

About Jor-El, maybe he comes with a "Mr. Potato Head" feature. Beard, no beard...monocle, no monocle! It's fun for all...

It was bound to happen, we will see some raised \S/'s and some \S/'s on the belt. The suits always have little tweaks in the comics anyway, I think its refreshing.

i think it is funny that everyone is talking about the changed colour on the suit. but noone has a problem tha tthe skin looks nothing like the human skin. i bet that if someone will make a manip he will change the red and blue. but he will let the magenta skin.
