I remember that tower from Batman 89.
I could totally see Burton's Atlantis looking like those Cathedral's and having that architecture.

I see his Atlantis being pretty dark like a Gothic, underwater ,fairytale as opposed to the much lighter Alice and Wonderland.

Sheryl Lee is great as Poison Ivy, and I could also see her as a Pfeffer like take on Catwoman.

Do you think the film can still happen, but with another director?

You cast is good. Lukas Haas sticks out in a good way.
Gosh, how perfect he would be for the awkward teenage Clark. Him going the Superboy route, still learning to control his powers.
There's is something about him that gives off an alien vibe. I don't know what it is. Do you notice it too?

Krypton as a gothic world. Two thumbs up for that
Though I have a problem understanding how those two skyscraper-sized rocks can hold the weight of an entire city, lol

Fortress of Sollitude seems to be like harsh and cold. Such a different vision from other live-action designs..
Why is there sketeton remains of giant animals there?

The glowing floating symbol in Phantom Zone make it seems that it's a part of an old computer game.
"Push it to escape!" haha

I like how Burton wanted Superman's suit to be more plastic-like in the way it looks.
It's shiny, and therefor different from the other Supermen on film and TV.
I hope we can get a version of that suit someday.
What are your thoughts about that?

Do you really think Daniel Day-Lewis would agree to star in a film like this?

As far as Director's go, I think it could happen with another director, though, I think if this were still Burton's vision, the director would probably be someone who very much could get what Burton was going for.

In Haas's case, he very much has that other worldly quality and he also looks like he could be a younger Nicholas Cage. Plus, he's worked with Burton in the past, so it fits..
He would very much fit a Cage- esque, younger Clark Kent.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the Krypton shots I used were from Burton's Superman lives, but I don't remember which ones they were unfortunately.

As far as the suit goes, I'd be down with the type of suit that they were going to go with.

As far as DDL goes, I tend to think, back then ,he would have turned down the offer to play Jor El or any other character in a CBM .

He's usually pretty picky about the projects he does. Maybe today it would be different but I think it would really have to depend on the role and the script.

Cage can be Jor-El. It would be interesting to see him as Kal-El's kryptonian father.
A younger actor is needed for Supes. Why not Lukas Haas? Wait, isn't he a bit old too? Well, the hero doesn't really have to be 25 in this story.

So... let's get Haas to wear the shiny plastic suit

Regarding DDL... if Brando can be in a Superman film, why should DDL think of himself above it?

I was actually going to do a Green Arrow silent film with Fairbanks but then I thought about the art deco, roaring 20s setting, which would be perfect for Batman, and everything else fell in place.

The Joker actor is Conrad Veidt in the silent film The Man Who Laughs .

I was actually going to do a Green Arrow silent film with Fairbanks but then I thought about the art deco, roaring 20s setting, which would be perfect for Batman, and everything else fell in place.

The Joker actor is Conrad Veidt in the silent film The Man Who Laughs .

That character was at least one of inspiration for the Jokers , according to legend .

I think he actually does play a Joker like killer in that film, though I've never seen it before.

Glad you like it Airwings.
This team up is one of my favorites that I've done.
It seems like a very natural pairing between two kindred spirits.
Imagine the sparks between Gadot and Evans.

I imagine that the two characters would form a close bond, with a clear attraction and affection for each other, but that both would ultimately still be in love with other people.

So, I almost see it as one of those, "If we weren't emotionally attached to other people, we might see where this goes" type, of dynamics.

I imagine Peggy really liking Wonder Woman and admiring her, but also having that slight insecurity about the growing connection between Steve and Diana.
Yet, she would try to hide it , albeit , awkwardly.

I imagine Howard Stark, of course, being Ga Ga over Wonder Woman.

I do imagine that Baroness and Skull as having an affair , so their team up is more than just a means to and end.

Though, I imagine that they would probably clash alot ,and they probably wouldn't agree on who should rule the world after the war..
