I hope it can happen with a director who's not too different from Burton in style.
Cage can be Jor-El. It would be interesting to see him as Kal-El's kryptonian father.
A younger actor is needed for Supes. Why not Lukas Haas? Wait, isn't he a bit old too? Well, the hero doesn't really have to be 25 in this story.
So... let's get Haas to wear the shiny plastic suit
Regarding DDL... if Brando can be in a Superman film, why should DDL think of himself above it?
It's ok that you don't rememeber exactly which pics that were from the film.
While Baldwin and Depp's castings in hindsight are pretty awkward, I'll admit, I don't find spousal abuse or the accidental shooting of someone all that funny.
Inspired by the legendary Dark Knight, Gotham City socialite Selina Kyle prowls the skyline at night as Catwoman. Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, she soon finds herself in the crosshairs of Roman Sionis, the sadistic mobster known as the Black Mask, who will stop at nothing to end her Robin Hood crusade. Framed for the murder of a dear friend, Selina is suddenly forced out of her lavish penthouse to lay low on the streets she used to call home—The Narrows, Gotham City’s poorest neighborhood. With the help of young runaway Holly Robinson and ex-cop Slam Bradley, Selina must fight back to clear her name and topple Black Mask’s criminal empire once and for all in this gritty adaptation of DC Comics’s beloved feline fatale!

Sharon Stone was the worst part of the actual film so that would probably be an improvemenet, not sure about Catwoman having those allies from early on. What would the Mad Hatter's role be?

Whereas Roman Sionis / Black Mask would be the big bad of the film, Mad Hatter would be a cog in the machine—similar to Scarecrow in Batman Begins.
Selina hears of girls going missing in the Narrows, which is first brought to her attention by young runaway Holly Robinson and later confirmed by Dr. Leslie Thompkins (Selina’s Alfred stand-in). Thompkins runs a clinic in the Narrows. These young girls are Hatter’s captive ‘Alices.’
Ted Grant is Selina’s old friend & trainer at a derelict old gymnasium in Gotham. And Slam Bradley is Selina’s love interest, a cop at odds with his own department (which includes the corrupt Lt. Branden and Commissioner Loeb from Batman Year One).
I remember Wizard casting calls.
Those were the days!
Here's just one of many I found online for a Kevin Smith Superman film.
I chucked alot of the old issues from the 90s a couple of decades ago.
Now I wish I kept em..
