He's already changed it to reflect the Parallax retcon. That's why Hal is babbling about spreading fear throughout his recreated universe. Hal didn't want to spread fear throughout the universe the first time around. He wanted to remake the universe so everything would be better; it was like superheroism taken to really, really scary extreme. But nope, now Hal's just a body possessed by a cookie-cutter, mustache-twirling cockroach.
