DC Solicitations for September

-Nope, still don't care about Brightest Day

-Out of all those War comics the only one catches my eye is Weird War Tales. Definitely can't pass up Darwyn Cooke and Ivan Brandon is usually good.

-Milligan on Batman, Hine on Detective, and Morrison on Batman and Robin. That's a great line up for Batman's return.

-Equally excited for Superman. Hopefully JMS can do to Superman what he did for Thor. Cornell on Action is going to be fun.

-***k and yes more Freedom Fighters. I'm on board for all 12 issues.

-I'm mixed about Giffen's Doom Patrol. I really enjoy some parts of it but for the most part it leaves me cold. Although, he has my interest with Mr. Somebody.

-Secret Six 26 wins the internet.

-I wish I could afford those Jack Kirby hardcovers

-Scalped, iZombie, Hellblazer all look great.

JMS' Wonder Woman has mythical monsters appearing. Seems JMS is doing the right thing and putting Diana back to her roots, NO ALIEN STUFF! *Angts*

New creative team on Doc Savage? Awesome. Hopefully they don't suck. Lookin' forward to the Azzarello/Risso Spirit black & white short as the back-up in the main Spirit book.

Pissed First Wave #3 has been delayed, causing #4 to come out in September.

Batman: Odyssey #3 sounds wonderful.

American Vampire #7 and iZombie #5. can't wait. Love these series.

-Weird War Tales looks pretty neat, great line up.

-I hope Peter Milligan stays on Batman and this isn't just a one shot deal, great writer.

-I think it's cool that Freedom Fighters is getting an ongoing. Not expecting it to last long, but you never know, these things can surprised (this one won't).

-This solicitations http://dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=15578for JMS' Superman and Wonder Woman runs sound so...not interesting. I know they're just solicitations and all, but I'm not the big JMS fan that others tend to be. I'm still keeping my eyes on them.

-The Main Man colliding with Brainac and the R.E.B.E.L.S crew? Uh oh...but should be a great read.

Someone close to Karen Starr has figured out that she’s the one and only Power Girl! An unusual alliance is born as this new team tries to uncover who ruined Power Girl’s company and sent her life into a tailspin.

*Sigh*...I really hope these PG solicitations doesn't mean the book is going down the super grimdark like it sounds. I've loved the funner and lighter side the series has been providing, of course, it's Winick, so I'm sure I'm just wishing in the wind.

-Ratchet & Clank? That's a pretty fun series, though I doubt I'll pick up that mini.

Everything else I'm into looking good, too.

Boy Commandos HC a must get. Last Family of Krypton #2 looks awesome, enjoying Superboy/LSH in Adventure as well. If I got any money left I'll look at the war books. Hope JMS Superman is good, Supes needs a good new direction.

Hoping Obsidian comes back safe from his time as an egg. And people thought only Silver Age stories were whacky!
