Cool.

I thought this movie was DC universe best movie so far this year, it was better than Wonder Woman. The Animation is great, everything transitions so smoothly. The design of Sinestro and Hal are the best I've seen on screen. My personal favorite is the design of Kilowog, they should draw him more like that.

WB should take some time to make a Green Lantern Animated show because movie was really good
I thought Sinestro's plot was a bit predictable but was executed very well to make you appreciate it. I knew somewhere in this movie he was gonna go black and yellow, And that design looked was better than the Green and Black.

Kilowog and Hal interaction was great. Kilowog is a hardcore Green Lantern patriot and only wants everyone but Hal to command the ring, him and the rest of the little blue guardians. Nobody likes humans because they smell but that changes by the end of the movie.

I loved that they included blood with every death. Boodikka death reminded me or spike ceiling in Mortal Kombat 2. This is what caught me off guard I didn't know she was a trader I thought it was Sinestro all a long.

The big show down at the end with Sinestro and the Green Lanterns was okay. I thought that they could at least tone down his power a bit to make the GL Corp fight a little more interesting, but whatever.

Sinestro is a really power hunger guy when his Yellow Lantern drained the Green Lantern of its power all the Green Lantern rings across the galaxy came back dropping like flies in front of GL corp guardians, without them they couldn't protect themselves they all died.:csad:

Hal was all green after taking the last remaining power of core Green Lantern rock after that him and Sinestro faced off. It was good even though Hal was doubled team he still managed to crush the yellow lantern.

So, Mike059jig, you are telling us you saw the movie?

Yup my comic store has it on Blu-ray and DVD already, I was suprised normally they get stuff a week before but they had since last week. I don't have blu-ray so I brought the double disk DVD and you get you a GL ring.

The chances of a character getting an animated series go up substantially if there's a major live action feature film coming up, so the GL feature will hopefully prompt Warner Animation to make a GL animated series. If Green Lantern: First Flight has strong sales, and I think it will do, that'll be a further boost for the chances of an animated series.

Did Christopher Meloni did a good job on voicing as Hal Jordan?

I thought so, Everyone did a great job voicing all the characters. I think the ones that stand out the most to me is Michael Madsen (Kiliwog) and Victor Garber (Sinestro).

It came separate but the guy that work told it was part of the marketing for the movie and the Blackest Night comic series. Its a plastic ring but it looks exactly like the black power ring the Black Lanterns use. On the first disc their is a special behind the scenes special by Geoff Johns who gives you information on the new Blackest Night comic book series.

That's good to know, and just to let everybody know, if you buy a copy of "Blackest Night" #1 at you local comic book store you get a black lantern ring with it.

These should be collectors items.

The thought strikes me that they may well have a sequel to Green Lantern: First Flight come out in the summer of 2011 to coincide with the release of the live action Green Lantern.

Anyway to watch this clip since I am in Canada.

Wait...
Boddika betrays the Corps? :wow:

And dies? :wow:
Yep, she was with Sinestro all along. She fights Jordan and dies.
Really good flick, btw. Great animation, well told story and it was just awesome seeing the GL world come to life.
And of course, hearing the oath was great.
:woot:

You have seen it to Holtz?

I just saw the 4 minute clip and I have to say wow, I can't wait to get this. The animation looks incrediable, and you know what I didn't even care that Abin Sur looked liked that, it was just amazing.

Sure did. Abin Sur did look weird, but
he is barely in the movie, so it's not a big deal. Jordan was GL and in space in like 5 minutes.
It was a great flick.

:wow: Those four minutes were epic. Seriously can't wait to pick this up!

Meloni's voice doesn't bother me.. I'm glad, I was worried about that.

Four AWESOME minutes! :wow:

"Hey, do you remember Cabo? Man, you put in some weight. I don't even know how we got back to the hotel."
