We are already half way through August and still no word on when DCU is launching this year? Lord.

Why would that stop them? They are spending loads of money on shows right now and are already taking sign ups.
Launching September 15th.
Any chance we'll be getting any of the classic DC Animation on this thing?
Do we know if this is just in the US? Theyll be opening themselves up to a horrific amount of piracy if it is.
A proper listing onsite would be helpful, but I'm near certain I saw original recipe Teen Titans in the available at launch promo. I wonder if they'll have the old Shazam (live action and animated) and Plastic Man shows.Yeah pretty sure all of the DCAU will be on their along with the movies, Superfriends and brave/bold. Teen Titans probably won't be on there since CN probably retains rights to it as long as they produce the series.
Be nice if they had all the formation stuff on there.
In the livestream they said they would have Batman the Animated Series, the Justice League animated series, and the complete seasons of the the Superfriends. (I am not sure about anything else.)
They said it is just for the US for now as they are still figuring it all out for the US before they can move to international markets.
Hmmm. I think that’s a massive error in today’s global communications market. If you have a service that you expect to be popular, and take on the likes of Netflix and Amazon, you have to launch worldwide. Otherwise you’re just opening the door to the greasy little pirates out there, and losing a huge amount of revenue.
Shouldn't they go for a WB streaming service rather than just DC?
Makes sense. Even as a big DC fan I can't see how it will work by itself as people already own the best DC films and I don't think there are enough DC TV shows to justify a monthly fee, unless it's close to zero. Throw in all WB films and shows and then you're on to something.I think they're trying to see how much they can separate and get away with it (HBO, DCU)
If one starts failing then just combine it with another to boost it
