has anyone tested this fact yet though? back when Super Smash Bros Brawl, came out people hacked into the files and did find hidden or unfinished characters, wonder if anyone has tried it with this?

And that's the fundamental problem with the gaming industry today. Games are shipped with 70-80% of the content, with the rest locked away until the company decides to milk more money out of it in ways of DLC.

Remember the days of MvC2 where you started with 30 fighters and unlocked 60 more? Or when you opened up and played your FFVII game it took you a good 60 hours to complete, with an additional 20 hours for all the side quests? Gone are those days. It's now 20 hour RPG's with 12.99$ 'expansion packs' (**** left out intentionally, as seen in Fable II amongst many other games) that add a few hours, or fighters that have locked characters only unlockable with DLC some months later.

I really, really, really can't stand the gaming industry anymore.

whats worse is paying for online, in order to buy online... thus why i love nintendo

The way I understood it was the top 15 or so on both systems are just going to do the Superman Ground Pound infinte, his insta-match-win, and Flashes infinite, in every single match.

Hopefully they'll wise up and go "hey maybe we should fix this".

From what I've read from reports the following happened;

The servers were so bogged down it was almost impossible to get in a game with a dev, let alone play it without it having issues and the game ended.

If someone started using an infinite against the dev's they would leave the match.

All of the dev's and people from Midway playing were pretty bad, with the exception of Hector Sanchez, who was basically the face of the game to anyone that wanted info.

Multiple accounts of people saying that various different devs said that DLC was in the works, as was a patch to fix a lot of the infinties and bugs, and that "patches take a lot of money and a lot of time", so no ETA was given.

Ed Boon talks a LOT of ****, and can only back it up with scorpion.

you're right, they probably just meant that it's in the works conceptually. i'm sure they started thinking about the next game long ago. as much fun as mk vs. dc can be, i can't wait for the next one seeing as how it's most likely going to be purely mk... unless they really want to capitalize on the success of mk vs. dc in which case a direct sequel makes more sense. hmm...

Its a step up from Deception and Armageddon, but the game is still crap. The finishers are terrible aside from The Joker.

And the 30 seconds endings are hilarious:

- Deathstroke becomes Sub-Zero

It takes projectiles for 0 damage and 2x the normal amount of rage.

Pretty good if someone's just spamming.
