He also said that theres 6 characters already IN the game that just wern't 'unlocked' from retail, and have just been sitting there unused until DLC comes out.
Boon is the WORST person to believe when it comes to news, because all he's ever done is LIE.
And that's the fundamental problem with the gaming industry today. Games are shipped with 70-80% of the content, with the rest locked away until the company decides to milk more money out of it in ways of DLC.
Remember the days of MvC2 where you started with 30 fighters and unlocked 60 more? Or when you opened up and played your FFVII game it took you a good 60 hours to complete, with an additional 20 hours for all the side quests? Gone are those days. It's now 20 hour RPG's with 12.99$ 'expansion packs' (**** left out intentionally, as seen in Fable II amongst many other games) that add a few hours, or fighters that have locked characters only unlockable with DLC some months later.
I really, really, really can't stand the gaming industry anymore.
has anyone tested this fact yet though? back when Super Smash Bros Brawl, came out people hacked into the files and did find hidden or unfinished characters, wonder if anyone has tried it with this?
I can't wait for some DLC...I really like this game. It's lots of fun.
Reminder to everyone...
FRIDAY, JANUARY 23 is Game with developers
That's right people, here is your chance to play with (and against) the creators of this game. It's from 8pm - 11pm ET. Just sign-in to Xbox Live and go to EVENTS. Then send a friend request to the gamertags they have listed at least one half-hour before the event starts.
Hey, it could be real fun!!!
every high level player intends to exploit every glitch, infinite and flat out ******ed exploit they possibly can on the ****ers.
It's Midway, that trend will continue until the franchise changes developers. Have there been any other news after Midway has been sold?
How was 'game night with the developers'?! Did anyone here participate??
"In the works" where they have absolutely zero details to give on a major event for the MK team = fiddling around on paper trying to come up with characters / story.
What is the purpose of that move that Batman has where he raises his cape in front of his body? I believe it's Back, Back, Y on the Xbox 360.
