I wonder if anyone has managed to get through a marathon of DCEU films? Well there are only 5 in the universe right now as far as watching which are:

Man of Steel (2013)
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Suicide Squad (2016)
Wonder Woman (2017)
Justice League (2017)

I am thinking about starting my marathon right now by watching the films in order on my laptop

...only if I end up in hell.

Did one in the lead up to JL and just about to start another to include JL.

Not as such, but before seeing BvS I rewatched MoS twice, then before seeing SS I rewatched BvS twice, then before seeing WW I rewatched SS... once (:woot:), then before watching JL I rewatched WW twice. I won't be rewatching JL before seeing Aquaman though.

Hmmmm......no.

I'd happily watch Mos then WW then JL. I like to pretend the other movies never happened.

An animated DC marathon offers a more entertaining watch although I suspect you would need to split it up into a Bat marathon and a JL marathon.

Man of Steel was actually decent and probably my second favorite movie in the DCEU. It’s pleasant to watch even though I would change a lot of things about the movie. The DCEU still showed promise then ..

I just rewatched BVS. I talk **** on the DCEU a lot but I genuinely love that movie. It could’ve been so much more and made some big mistakes in trying to set up a cinematic universe but I do love that movie. I see why people hate it and it was a bad way to establish the foundation of a cinematic universe

Suicide Squad is so hard to watch. The first 30 or so minutes are fine but Jesus that movie totally fell apart. That movie is a complete mess. Why did Diablo get so much focus..? Leto is truly awful . Enchantress and her brother are somehow worse

Wonder Woman is a good movie but I wasn’t blown away. I think it’s anout as good as the average MCU movie to be honest. Weak third act. Ares is a good character but I wasn’t crazy about his portrayal here

Justice League is the definition of ok. So much missed potential but inoffensive. Third act sucked and I was unimpressed by Ezra and Momoa.

I think it would be hard to sit through all of these. I’d want to skip a lot of scenes

Now that would be a marathon! An enjoyable one though :yay:

I feel the same about BvS. I've rewatched it several times.

I haven't done a marathon per say, but I've watched them all in the last 6 months, including JL 2 times in the theater and 2 times on Blu-Ray. If and when there's a JL 2, I might well do a marathon like I'm currently doing with the MCU in preparation for Infinity War.

I took Suicide Squad out of this universe when watching the marathon.

Just like I took Incredible Hulk out of Marvel's Phase One.

But it flows well from MOS to start then gets deeper with BVS then topped with WW where JL would bring it back home but just fell short.....it still fits with the big three but the lack of epicness of JL was a disappointment.

If they somehow salvage the DCEU and keep these films in continuity then I’d watch them as part of a marathon.
