Darhk’s line about Hollywood men made me go, “Yikes” with all the stuff coming to light, especially with Kreisberg.

I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed the Stein and Jax switch.

The women empowerment was sooooooo much better than what the Flash writers did last week.

I liked the reference to the Amazons.

Best part: Damian Darkh's pitch to the team. In summary- "Go home, before you get yourselves hurt, you bunch of incompetents." Funny, for how its totally true.

Worst part: So, if Firestorm is demonstrably capable of beating *two* of their more powerful opponents simultaneously, on his own and while not in optimum condition. . . why don't they actually have Firestorm actually, you know, do stuff for them? It just puts more emphasis on how they insist on keeping him sidelined so they don't win.

Themyscira's looking pretty barren right about now.

I have to wonder if that decision would have been in the cards even if Wonder Woman hadn't come out this year.

We saw a beach....lol..what more would you expect to see from the Amazons?

Here's hoping an alternate universe version of Wonder Woman will join the Legends in the future...

Ding ding ding! Sara, Amaya and Zari doing the heavy lifting worked because they have established background, power set and training for it. There was nothing forced about sidelining the guys while the ladies save the day with the guys coming in as backup. Also, Hedy Lamarr!!! I was so surprised they actually included her contribution to the world, that she was so much more than just a pretty face.

Kuasa turning out to be [BLACKOUT]Amaya's granddaughter[/BLACKOUT] was a surprise but if this means her village's terrible fate is changed, then it's not so bad?

Seeing Martin in the Firestorm suit was another surprise. It's great they gave Garber that moment before he leaves the show. And Franz nailed it as an OTT Martin.

A fun ep all around, can't wait for next week's to make for this week's lack of Mick.

It seems you never watched the two Vixen episodes on CWSeed where Kuasa first appeared and gained the Water Totem, episodes in which she existed alongside the devastated village backstory for Mari.

I was surprised with the men all slack-jawed and falling over themselves over Helen, the Sara barely seemed to notice her. I would've thought she was at the front of the pack trying to get her to her room. I mean, she's already got Cleopatra checked off the list (IIRC).

I think the implication was that she was under some sort of curse from the gods that only affected men and made them fight over her.

Sara may or may not have found her attractive, but Helen's "power" didn't figure into it because Sara's female.
