Deadpool Deadpool News and Discussion - Part 2

Yeah same here, Civil War and Deadpool are the movies I’m most looking forward to next year. Hopefully they’ll both be just as good as each other.

I'll never know why the changed Colossus's design from X2, I thought he looked awesome there, then ****ing Ratner had to change it and we were stuck with it then until DOFP.

Money, I'd imagine. The early X-Man films were light on all-CGI characters until DOFP (which was so far away that CGI effects had become way less expensive by then).

It wasn't just Colossus either unfortunately, as poor Iceman can attest.

So this is interesting. Apparently they'd wanted Cannonball to be Colossus' partner at one point.

He does need to be in a movie with Deadpool at least once. Just for Cannonballs.

Got to admit that I'm not a Deadpool fan, but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not reasonably excited for this, especially after the new trailer. I could easily see this being Reynolds' comeback, especially since this is the one role he was born to play.

TBH honest i don't think Reynolds cares too much if this is a massive hit. He seems to only do indie films that interest him like The Voices and passion projects like this. GL killed his mainstream leading man career before it even got started.

Umm, no. While does do smaller films, he still goes for the bigger films. Sadly, most of those tend to be duds.

Really wasn't feeling the trailer when I watched the leaked version from comic con, but now that I've watched the officially released version?

yeah

gimme dat

I'd really love to see this proper Deadpool interact with Logan.

after seeing that trailer, my list of most anticipated superhero/comic flicks for next year goes like this:

1 - Batman vs Superman
2 - DEADPOOL
3 - Suicide Squad
4 - X-Men: Apocalypse
5 - Captain America: Civil War

The trailer really gives me this vibe of how if Sam Raimi had directed another superhero movie or not done Spider-Man, this would have been the one for him. :)

Was watching Marvel movie news and someone pointed this out from the trailer. The fishnets suggest to me it could be when Vanessa turns into Copycat, but it could just be Vanessa, or it could be anyone

Its Vanessa! Thats probably a scene during the climax. And I'm hoping that she will turn to Copycat in that scene.

She must be mutant, not human transformed into mutant.
As same as Angel Dust.

What bigger films? Deadpool is probably the biggest film he's done since Green Lantern or Safe House.

RIPD and Self/Less. I understand forgetting RIPD, as I don't think many actually saw the film. Self/Less, while not an action blockbuster, isn't what I would call an indie film.

I apologize if this has already been posted but I just watched the trailer for the first time and saw this. I did a double take before I realized... :oldrazz: It must be an "Easter egg" of some kind, lololol.
