He's within most critic percentages , but there's definitely things he goes after. He can talk alot of **** though, which is why I think alot of fans get mad.

I agree with him more then not on films, but every now and then I completely disagree with his opinions like with Batman Begins, Paprika and Blade Runner. But that's the case with everyone. We all have our tastes.

Is he the guy that hates most films in this genre?

I wouldn't say that's the case, loved a lot of the MCU stuff, often takes shots at CBM's that take themselves too seriously (DCEU). I guess he just finds Deadpool's brand too sophomoric.

I find many of his reviews insightful, but he does like to troll and talk shi*.

Can you mention if you enjoyed Deadpool VileOne?

Yeah, offbeat choices help other studios feel more confident with their success. I imagine Deadpool's success will not only help influence Fox's future films, but I think other studios will take notice.

No more PG-13 Robocop bs.

An R rating and more explicit scenes would NOT have made ANY of the PG-13 ROBOCOP sequels any better (or worse).

:up::up:

You are not understanding my point at all. I'm not talking about how GOTG changed the game with it's rating. I'm talking about how a D list line up of characters who were marketed as being the *******s of the Marvel universe that included a raccoon and a tree managed to gross more then Captain America and X-Men in August. That didn't go ignored by other studios, Deadpool's writer flat out said "Deadpool owes Guardians a huge debt". They have been trying to make Deadpool for years. If GOTG failed you may have seen a more conventional list of comic films this year. That filmed helped motivate success with other properties.

Technically, that honor belongs to the first BLADE movie, and later, the first IRON MAN movie.

Definitely, it's not just one film or a certain year. GOTG was even less known then those guys and made a bigger box office impression.

Then we have X-Men, Dark Knight and Avengers that pushed things forward in a different way as well. Alot of these films success help shape what's released in the future.

This isn't a spoiler filled review, I just put it in spoiler tags just incase someone gets mad that I put out a review

Well if you've been following this movie they've showed about 80% of the movie in trailers and clips. The pacing is really bad, the jokes are fine in the beginning then grow tiresome after a while. A lot of time is spent setting up the orgin which would be fine if the movie was 2hr+. CG is very bad and low budget. He did say that the characters are pretty much how they are in the comics and Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool. Also he liked Warhead. Basically he said that if Fox gave them a bigger budget then they would be able to correct those mistakes. It seems like the leaked script from years ago is the same one they used in this movie minus a few things

Surely the R rated content was the best part of this movie and was the only reason to see this movie. And yes, that was sarcasm on my part.

He said the movie will only appeal to 14 year old basement dwellers...or something similar to that.

Based on all of the hardcore selfish "adult" comic book fans who kept pushing and begging for this movie to be R rated (and having a hissy fit over any suggestion of a PG-13 cut), I can see how he would come to that conclusion.

Well, Devin Faraci loved Fantastic Four.

He also loved Terminator Salvation. He gave it an embarrassing 4 star rave review in Empire magazine. He was never invited back to write for them after that.

Regardless of if it was pg-13 or not the immaturity would have stood. Comes with the character even when he's pg.

You don't need to keep baiting others on this board man. You already did this dance. You wanted it PG-13, cool. Reynolds has fought his ass off to get this movie made for 11 years, he wanted it R and we wouldn't have a film at all if it wasn't for him.

Blade X should relax and watch this:

Shame we won't see Taskmaster vs Deadpool. :csad:

7/10 is fun by your standards? That's pretty average to me. That's how I feel about Iron-Man 2 and 3.

Yeah, a 7/10 for me is something like Jurassic World or The Man From U.N.C.L.E. They're flawed, but I think they overcome their faults and end up being really enjoyable.

I'd put Iron Man 2 at 5/10 and Iron Man 3 at 6/10 tbh. Enjoyed those somewhat, but left the theater feeling mixed about them.

God forbid us ''adults'' for actually wanting anything right?!

It's not like kids don't have umpteen other comic book movies at PG-13 they can watch, but this one time we get an R rated one and everyone goes up in arms and does the ''think of the children'' bull**** spiel.

Get over it.
