I was thinking about this but I can't see it being done contractually. I was thinking of Deadpool at the beginning acknowledging the fact Feige is a producer on the film and getting excited asking if that means someone would appear preferably Spidey (although that's still really Sony). But I think it'd be too confusing for the general audience.

I think they may have some crazy stuff going on and he'll be like, "hey why isn't so and so here?" Or if they can't say the name like, "why isn't that guy with the thing here? It's very odd that this would be going on and they're not even attempting to stop it." Basically a jab at the whole various studios thing.

By the way, despite some reports, I don't think Kevin Feige will produce the movie. In latest reports, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg are named as producers, which seems likely to me.

Feige is producing? Where's that come from?

Wouldn't be surprised if they poke fun at the MCU a bit. Birdman did it nicely, so why not the 'Pool?

It was reported in Variety when the movie was first announced that Feige was producing and of course off the back of that site everybody else ran with it. I don't know why he would be but according to JKR them reports were seemingly wrong

What did Birdman do in regards to poking fun at the MCU? I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm going to soon when I have the time.

Ah, cheers.

I heard it actually poked fun at the whole genre.

Kinda like the Oscars just did, from what I heard (I didn't watch that either).

The whole film is a giant stab at the superhero/action focus of Hollywood, so there are loads of fun stabs at the MCU itself. The best bit is when Keaton reels off a list of names, and is told they're all Avengers (RDJ etc). He ends on Jeremy Renner, and replies "&£^£, they put him in a cape too?!" :funny:

Still far and away the best movie of the year. Just a brilliant introspection on acting and performance as an art and theater, without being self indulgent.

It still depends on how good the story, the writers and the director are.

He can still say he thinks it will be good now that Rothman is gone, it is known Rothman blocked it from happening.

Hmm we will never know. He was still the boss at Fox when X-Men: 1st Class was released.

It will be for sure.

We got that almost immediately with the test footage and script. Safe to say we will see it in the final flick.

Yeah, would have had this awhile ago if not for that guy. Been reported on more then a few sites that he was responsible.

Nice shout out to Tom in the test footage haha.

Are people going to start complaining about him answering a question he was asked?

I know this has probably been discussed already, but did DoFP eliminate the Wolverine solo movies from the timeline?
