I dont see the PG-13 rating being a huge problem, there are ways to move around it. TDK trilogy and the last few X-Men films have had some pretty dark stuff in them with the same rating.

Also, as others have mentioned, they can just release an R-rated version for the blu-ray.

Seriously though, we're beyond lucky that we're getting a Deadpool movie as it is. At this point bring on the Pg-13 Deadpool. It's better than nothing! You can get away with A LOT with Pg 13. Think TDK, DOFP, GOTG & several comedies. They can beep all the cussing and foul language but just bleep it out for comedic effect. It could work. I hope an R-rated version is released on Blu ray and DVD!

I was being sarcastic with that Deadpool meme, come on. We all care about a good movie with a good script foremost but who doesn't wanna see an R-Rated Deadpool film? He's one of the most violent Marvel characters out there. I'm not the only one who wasn't a bit bummed out by this.

Completely doable PG-13 but yeah he is constantly getting chopped up into gory bits and so on. So it's not insane at all to think that Deadpool should be rated R. His powers and attitude kind of asks for it. Donner, Kinberg, Reynolds and the rest of them said so as well. That's why the script was written that way in the first place. People were not asking for an R cause it wouldn't fit or would ruin the film.

Who said he's in armor? You can't get rid of that character regardless. He's the one whos pretty much responsible for turning Wade into Deadpool, along with Killbrew. Ditch him and you lose a big part of Deadpools origin.

Yeah, the Workshop. Pretty much just like the Joe Kelly stuff. From what I remember Worm is there and everything. Only differences are that Weapon X and Death are left out of it and theres a few more villains introduced. Think he also grabs the name Deadpool from somewhere else but overall it's really accurate.

Probably left out Weapon X to distance itself from Origins at the time. But now cause of DOFP I'd imagine they will connect it through there. Easy fix and connection to that world, shouldn't change what they have at all either.

Lots of good Joe Kelly stuff here throughout.

After all, Deadpool will be the second solo movie by Fox (from XMen comics) so his fans are lucky now

I think a Pg-13 release is for the best! And for the R-18 stuff, do it the Extended Cut way.

Story wise I'd really say it's best to do Ajax, Killbrew, T-Ray and Cable/Domino before adding others. Or even Outlaw, Black Swan and the Agency X Mercs. Characters that have not been used and have to do with his Origin or are other Mercenaries. But cameo wise I'd say anything goes in Deadpools world.

He's interacted, teamed up, trolled and at points killed all the Marvel Universe so the possibilities are endless even with just the characters Fox owns.

Now how about actually signing Ryan Reynolds, unless they want someone cheaper now? Reynolds isn't exactly in high demand right now.

I just can't wait for the casting announcement for this film. Even though there's no X-Men film next year, us fans will be busy getting updates and news from Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse. I also can't wait for Comic-Con 2015!

And since its coming out before Apocalypse, the casting/production should start earlier than Apocalypse's casting announcements/production, right?

In previous leaked script there was reference made to Xavier via negative comments by Deadpool.

Colossus being in final version of film depends on plans for larger X-Men film universe and when Deadpool will take place.

Fox are probably going to demand one or two familiar X-Men appear in the movie.It would be nice if Colossus is one of them with a few more lines this time around.

He did keep in contact with Wadlow though, as well as some of the Deadpool makers.

Unless the Deadpool team were willing/able to co-finance it themselves like Vin Diesel did on Riddick or Matthew Vaughn and co. on Kick-Ass, they weren't going to budge on the rating.

They may have not demanded in that case but Jean Grey/Phoenix's ghost did play an important role in The Wolverine and it's promotion. Not to mention the after the credits scene setup for DOFP with Xavier and Magneto.

They'll want to make back some profit on their investment no matter how small. Familiar faces from the franchise can help to achieve that.

Jackman isn't 100% sure about Apocalypse or Wolverine 3 so a Deadpool cameo might be out of the question. If they are including Weapon X in the movie then at least a Wolverine reference is a must though IMO.

Here's a little bit of trivia; Philip J Silvera, stunt/fight coordinator for the test footage, was also Alex Gonzalez's (Riptide) stunt double in X-Men First Class.

Apart from possable apocalypse setup In post credit sequenze there may not be much
from X-Men films In Deadpool.

With both Hugh jackman and producers talking about him filming Apocalypse and wolverine solo film back to back I wouldn't say he's not sure.
