Deadpool Deadpool Spin-off Confirmed - Part 2

How would guy feel about them actually doing it in CGI like in the test footage instead of live-action.

I'm fine with them CGing Deadpool since it looked good in the test footage, with more budget and more time in post-prod, it will look even more real. But if they are gonna CGI Deadpool for the entire movie, the movie could be more expensive than The Wolverine.
 
The only thing that should be CGI, is probably the mask. He should still wear a regular one, but added with those dots for the animators, so they can CGI the eyes.
 
They wouldn't if the film is not happening anytime soon.
 
I did like the CGI effects in the test footage. It looks different from any other movie and I think that's what makes it special. Deadpool is completely different from others in the Marvel Universe so, I think it's pretty fitting that they use a different style for the movie.

That test footage reminded me of Dredd. I could see a DP movie working in that kind of world.
 
Also, just realized that would put this BEFORE Apocalypse. :up:

It's funny to have this recently announced and placed in an early spot in 2016
 
This is unbelievable. Literally. The footage being "leaked" musta been a test. Either that or the unbelievable love for it has gained Fox's attention. I hope they don't muck it up. That video was all kinds of awesome. If they stick with the same inspiration, script, and direction they took with it, the movie has such potential. Sign me up!
 
Just awesome. Awesome, Fox. 2016 is a beast. I don't see all of these cbms making it, though. Shazam and Deadpool seem like they might be moved or delayed to me. Hopefully, they all make it for 2016.

So in 2016 Marvel Studios, Fox, and WB/DC will have two respective cbms releasing while Sony will have Sinister Six.

Interesting that the studios are trying to do Marvel's two cbms a year thing now. Let's see how this works out.

its even more interesting that its coming a couple of months before Apocalypse, its the sorta thing you don't expect to happen

i do question the idea behind it
