He's an effects guy who has been attached forever. He directed that test footage and the opening scene of Thor: The Dark World and the opening credits scene for Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. This is his first full movie though.

The release date is making me think that the budget won't be that big which is a smart idea because I don't think the movie has the potential to do well enough to support a really big budget.

I don't think the F4 release date shift is bad because Ninja Turtles showed that a film can get a pretty big opening weekend on that date.

He just turned Django into a graphic novel with plans on a team up with Zorro via DC Comics.

There have been big hits in February so I'm definitely not saying that it couldn't make over 100mil but over 150mil is rare, not impossible but you have to release the right film with the right marketing campaign. Who knows I might be wrong and this might be one of those films? I'm just doing some early guessing, I could change my mind in 2016.

It's his test footage and the enormous positive reaction that FINALLY got this film the greenlight. Seriously, after that footage, nobody should be doubting Miller. I'm so glad Fox is taking a leap of faith and keeping him at the helm.

Between this and Singer's Apocalypse, Fox EASILY has the best CBM slate for 2016. They're going to crush it.

I know that. And it's sad that Tarantino hates them. What I was saying was that his general style of film-making and directing and how he can make killing an art form and sometimes funny along with his style of humour would've made him a perfect fit for Deadpool.

I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! I've been waiting for 6 years to see my favorite character out of anything finally get his own movie; it's been 6 long years of disappointment & being teased by the people involved, but it's happening IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!!!!!

This just replaced everything as my most anticipated movie right now! Avengers, Star Wars, Batman vs Superman, Cap 3 & even the sequel to my favorite CBM, Guardians 2.
