The Dark Knight Death on the set! =(

My condolences to the crewman's family and the cast and crew. I know that they haven't released his name yet, but Nolan pretty much uses the same crew for everything, so I'm sure it's really hitting them all really hard. It had to be just a freak accident though. From the sounds of it, it seems like they were filming in the woods, maybe a Batmobile-to-Cave test run or something. The Tumbler may be able to handle rough conditions, but a regular car, I don't know man. Such a sad story.

Well, the fella that died is a hero in my book for helping bring what is going to be one of the most incredible movies to light.

My condolences to the crewman's family and the cast and crew.

mine are aswell
i can only imagine how sad everyone on set at this time
and his family who have no doubt heard :csad:

There have been many acciedents on the making of tdk
but none more tragic than this :csad:

i wonder if this bodes ill for the film itself.

you are a real jerk you know that
keep your damn opinions about nolan's batman to yourself
this story is more important than you
have some respect :cmad:

Is it me or does it seem to have alot of mishaps on the set of TDK? First it was the IMAX camera breaking, Maggie catching on fire and now a stunt guy dead. Did Batman contract the Superman curse?

I was thinking the same thing, though I didn't know Maggie caught fire. I was thinking about the bank fire. What are they filming, the Poltregeist?

Anyways, guys.

6 pages of condolences, yet we don't even have a name! Call me crazy, but it just doesn't feel right saying R.I.P. random crew member.

I'm not, hence the smiley at the end. My mistake if people took it the wrong way.

oh that's fine
see what googleme wrote
even though a crew member dies
he still takes the time to bash nolan's films

I hope his family isn't taking it too hard...a thing like this could really mess up a family.

this is sad news. tragic.

but it does happen sadly.. sometimes. his family and the tdk team must be in a dark place right now.

been following this film so closely that i'Ve had dreams about it, and im so excited about what the filmmakers and actors will create with the dark knight, so its scary this has happened. as a fan i'll be moved and grateful thinking about this guys part in it all when i see it opening night and for all time. when we find out his name. just the thought of this guy being killed while planning a shot and working on a batman film just really makes you go cold speechless. my, our, thoughts go out to his family and the rest of the dark knight crew and actors. i think nolan is going to dig deep and lead them on in his memory..cos he's a seriously good guy and they'll all be hit so hard by this we cant imagine, i'm sure its become a tight group. RIP

I don't know how I'll be able to enjoy this movie now knowing it cost someone his life...

Like brendon lee with "the crow"...I always felt really bad that the movie cost him his life.

Anyone think there's a chance the film will be dedicated to this man? Is that something Nolan would do?

prayers for him and his family

and for the people he worked with who no doubt will find it difficult to do their jobs while thinking about him...

Is this thread even appropriate anymore? Mods?

I always find it appropriate to pay respect for people who have died. The fact that it was while making the newest Batman movie makes it news for this forum.

I will not stand by and let cheap tasteless jokes made though.

So, maybe this movie will be dedicated to him... Something will propably be written in memory about this guy, in the end of the movie or something.

This is sad.
