Days of Future Past Deleted Scenes Thread

^No, the whole Cerebro scene played out the same way it did in the movie, except that when Charles finally found her, she wasn't at the airport, she was in front of the mansion. She would destroy Cerebro later.

And Cain was just a former student who had to leave when they closed the school.

Okay, aight. I got my own questions.

Magneto and Iceman - My source at Fox wouldn't disclose much to me other than they had some father-son moments in the original draft. I had a what the **** reaction to that. Was that true?

Also, did Magneto still get shrapnel to the kidney or did he last a bit longer originally?

Mags striked the Capitol Building with the Washington Monument. :oldrazz: And yes.

Did Magneto literally throw the Washington Monument at the Capitol Building like a spear?

Could you talk a little more about it?

1. Well, they were in a mission together... That will depend on your interpretation. In the draft I've read, there was seemingly no explicit father-son relationship.
2. He was the last man standing. An explosion made him go flying through the air and he hit the ground in a bone-crushing impact. He died inside the temple, saying his last words to Xavier.

Just the top of it. Nixon and Trask ran in a car into the White House bunker and you know what happened next.

Rike, do you prefer Magneto dropping the stadium around the White House or throwing the Washington Monument at the Capitol Building? and why?

^Are you interviewing me here? :oldrazz:

I prefer the stadium because... IT'S A ****ING STADIUM!!!

Hmmm, maybe my source got the first draft when Singer came on, it seems the one you have was when Vaughn was still attached. That death seems way more horrific for Magneto and I felt really bad with what he had. It just made someone so powerful seem so meek, feeble, maybe pathetic and old. For some reason I've never thought of McKellen as old. I want to and I don't want to see that death.

Last question, was the state of the future fleshed out a bit more. I mean we saw these things patrolling the South Bronx Internment Camp, but I don't know if those were humans or if they were drones. Did it explain if the Sentinels are in control or if the humans are in control and why they're doing what they are doing?

No way. He was owning the Sentinels, tearing off the X-Jet apart and throwing the pieces at them. :woot: The old man must have forgotten that there is an engine inside the jet and then one Sentinel exploded it.

There was a scene with the soldiers patrolling the streets of Moscow. It's said that "humanity's worst" is in charge.

Her weapon was a stick, it was not made of metal. :funny:

It was the after credits scenes. It was the rumored one that leaked in the media.

And the Rogue scene..It reads beautifully! Will be interesting to see how it comes alive.

Folks...you can discuss drafts of the script, but you cannot post:

-images from the script
-links to the script
-requests for the script
-offers to send copies of the script

So don't do any of those.

oh THAT one. Thanks! In that case, I'm really happy with the final product we got pertaining to Apocalypse.

Aaaand that is the quickest way to go from a new user to a banned user.

And please, don't be stupid enough to quote the troll who was just banned...

Hate to be that guy...

Anyways, didn't the old-new Xavier confrontation get changed. I mean I don't remember "You're scared, I remember."

"You're afraid...and Cerebro knows it."
