Actually that would be going against the comics Where Dent is established as being close to Bruces age. So what if DA's are usually older? Maybe Harvey Dent isn't your common DA. Finch was pretty young.

But he looked to be about 10 years older than Bruce IMO. I think the best move would to make Harvey Dent an A.D.A. - but the death of Finch makes me think they will just go the D.A. route. That leads me to think they will get an older actor...like Denzel or Schreiber.

Larry Holden who play Finch is 45 (but looks alot younger) so I guess an age bracket of 35-45 is more believable.

They just... really need to make it official as to whether or not Rachel Dawes is in the script or not. This constant back and forth between whether she is in it or not is getting rediculous. I honestly don't care what the answer is... Just make it stop already.

As for the Dent news, great. Once he's casted, the major roles should be pretty much set, and things can start to really take off. Then we can begin talking about more than rumors about upcoming rumors. I'm friggin excited.

I still think Katie will return and crossing my fingers on that. She's not the only one not officially signed on like Morgan Freeman. As to whether Dent is young or not no worries for me as long as he's one stellar credible actor.

Seeing as how crime is escalating and their D.A got taken out, I think Gotham City would more likely bring in an established older figure than some 'hot' new baby face.

As to how old Dent is?

Well....depends on what story you go by. But, I think we'll all agree to go by TLH, so he'd have to be older than Bruce. So, really....someone over the 31 mark might be a good choice.

Then again, with movies today....they could always make the actor look older. So, it's kinda moot.

Not really.

Infact, the "new blood, freash face" angle could work perfectly. Especially considering how the acid scars his face, and his psyche. Being a good looking "baby face" could be a nice angle to go with.

I mean, in BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES....that was one element to Dent.
