I think this "scene" kinda points out the difficulty a villain like Sandy brings to the Sandbox...errr... table. It's so hard to do anything with him that does not have the "roll the eyes... OH COME ON" effect... that Raimi and Company are having trouble addressing it IMO.

The Saying "You made the bed... now sleep in it" comes to mind too... mind you.

I'm not selling out to be "popular." What is this place, anyway? Is it anything that matters in the real world? No it isn't.

I too miss the 2 Spoilers forum. I am not sure why this forum is so much worse, but I suspect the subject matter has a bit to do with it. As a symbiote fan myself, it pains me to say that many of those who most rabidly want to see "Venom" no matter what, strike me as the most immature.... they don't give a damn what Raimi puts up there, its "Venom" so its all good. It makes symbiote fans look bad.

Then we have the boring cast this time out. We have, what, three villains at least in this thing? All three of them together do not generate half the positive buzz that Ock managed all by his lonesome, last time out.

Armored cars full of sand, surfing on car-doors.... meh... I wonder where they're sticking Aunt May in the scene, you know she'll be in there somewhere. She'll probably whop Sandman on the head with her umbrella this time out, too Boring.
