Is it wrong that I want all the Generation 1 Pokemon to be in the movie? All of them, from Bulbasaur to Mew.
I do think Pikachu is a bit too fury.
I saw only "missing" ad.Squirtle can actually be seen in the trailer in person.

It's a quick look and you miss it. You can also see Venusaur.I saw only "missing" ad.
Wait, this is the guy whose art I posted at the beginning of the thread. Cool. Also, I saw this article. Thought it was worth sharing.
"Realistic Pokémon" Artist Got A Job On The Detective Pikachu Movie
Were you expecting him to be smooth? He has fur like a mouse/bunny does.I do think Pikachu is a bit too fury.
That'll be a lot of Pokémon to throw into a single movie; an ambitious desire. We know it'll include more than just Gen.1 Pokémon, maybe you'll get to see all your Gen.1 critters over the course of several films if this one does well (of which I expect it will). If they're following the game plot though, I'm not quite sure where they'd go with a sequel. Is it wrong that I want all the Generation 1 Pokemon to be in the movie? Pokeballs would imply some form of captivity I suspect and then'll have too many people complaining about how Pokémon aren't tools to be used.A bit weird they didn't have a single pokeball in the trailer..

Oh come on, man, I was clearly joking. That'll be a lot of Pokémon to throw into a single movie; an ambitious desire. We know it'll include more than just Gen.1 Pokémon, maybe you'll get to see all your Gen.1 critters over the course of several films if this one does well (of which I expect it will).
