Dexter - Part 2

Miami has some crazzzy mother f***** :lmao: must be the bath salts. ITK,BHB, Skinner,Trin,Chase, Trav... the (incredibly disturbing) legion of doom.

Yea there are some plotholes throughout but what show doesn't?

yea I know, im just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking.

I wonder if Matthews is completely gone from the show now?

I don't think so. Pretty sure I've seen a glimpse of him either in that BTS thing or the trailer one

I'd love for him to screw over LaGuerta...that woman is just so scandalous lol to the point where it is irritating...

Maybe Biney can come back from the dead and kill her like he does in the books. :D

Oh man I wish. I can't stand her, I think i want her on Dexter's table this year or next. It'd be cool if she was his last victim or something, but she isn't a killer. What could she possibly do to make Dexter wanna kill her? Besides just being on his trail which would be dumb because he wouldn't even kill Doakes because he didn't meet the code. They've pretty much forgot about the code altogether it seems. I can't remember the last time they actually mentioned it

Well Dexter did say he was going to start winging it a little after season 2 or 3 in regard to the Code if I remember correctly.

But at the end of season 3 he reconciles with Harry's "ghost" after he realizes how much he loves his unborn son.

I think I remember Dexter saying he has altered the code, that its his code now, not harrys... which is why he went after that pedophile dude and a couple others...harry said only people who kill other people... dex changed the code to kill people who he believes deserve to die.

Anybody ever think Trinity's killing methods were a tad underwhelming? The brilliance of his character all boils down to the family aspect and psychology of the character. His methods though were not nearly as horrifying as say The Skinner's or as shocking as ITK's. I will give Skinner that much, every time I saw one of his victims I cringed so damn bad.

Yea that's true

Yea, its like Trinity is the only one who didn't want to get caught :hehe:

Yea a little bit. Cept for how he left DNA evidence at EVERY single crime scene he ever created. Still though, season 4 isn't flawless. I think Arthur being abusive to his children was a curve ball and done just to make him seem more ****ed up after the way Jonah talks about him the first time he meets Dexter

It would have been more disturbing to me if he didn't treat his family bad at all. But they had to make him like that in order to 'scare' dexter of what he could become.

and damn I forgot all about Trinity leaving his spit and ashes at every scene hahaha

Ok yea I can see that. I'm a couple episodes from the Thanksgiving episode now. I can't wait for the one! It was so crazy. If Trinity had been anybody else but John Lithgow I don't know how it could have worked so well. His performance really is what's so chilling about him.

Lmfao! How could you possibly want them to keep thinking Doakes was the BHB!?!?! Oh yea guys! Don't let the show make any progression whatsoever! Lmao wow man. You seriously have an odd sense of how a story should unfold
calm down there chuckles.

I simply meant that Dexter shouldn't be rushing to tell deb everything. Damn that should be the last thing on his mind. Of course I want deb to know everything but I can't even conceive of a situation where Dexter would reveal that. She will use her detective skills and uncover it. Dexter left enough connections that are apparent after you already know the big secret.the trailer even has Miami metro tying the blood slide to BHB. Deb will think about how she found Jordan chase last season, and maybe a good talk with Quinn

Oh ok I gotcha. And I agree with you I want Deb to talk to Quinn. I'm still pissed at how they just dropped Liddy's murder and Quinn knowing Dexter did it. Quinn should be the one telling Deb something like "I know how ****ed it is but look at who he has killed. They all deserve it and you can't deny that Deb." I dunno, just thinking out loud. I may just wanna see that cuz of how I feel about them wasting Quinn as a character so far

It would be cool for her to sneak on his computer and somehow crack into his stuff (maybe louis does that).

all the research Dex puts into it would be awesome for deb to find.

I think the thing I wanna know about the most is whether or not Dexter will tell Deb about Harry training him and everything. Now that Breaking Bad is off for the year this needs to hurry the **** up!

I gotta say, I've found a new respect for seasons 3 and 6. Every season and subsequently the killers/antagonists are meant to reflect certain sides of Dexter and help him grow. Now, what I will say is that the entire religious aspect while I find it unnecessary given my aversion toward religion but I see the necessity in it. It's the overall stories in 3 and 6 that were just kind of a boring representation of those particular sides of Dexter. That's really the main problems with them. The main problem for season 6 was how we all saw the big twist of the season coming before it even started (some of us did) season 3 was just a medicre story. Great performances and character development but the story just dragged it's ass the whole time and just when I got really interesting BOOM Miguel is dead. I dunno, just thinking out loud I guess.

Has anybody heard anything about the premiere leaking yet? I'm starting to think that Showtime isn't going to let it leak since this will be the biggest (story wise) yet.

The show has kind of lost it's humorous side a bit. Not a whole lot but some. I loved the morbid humor in the first 4 seasons or so

It's quite obvious from the very beginning of season 6 that it was Deb's season. It's really quite brilliant the way they developed her arc last year to ready her for the big revelation. Even with the whole "in love with my brother" stuff it's still the best part of last season. From her getting Lt to the situation with Matthews and the hooker. I'm just so stoked about this new season. I must've watched that BTS featurette and the trailer about 50 times each so far.
