what if LaGuerta finds Dexter's fingerprints on the blood slide and then confronts him but the twist would be she would be ok with him after he explains how Doakes died in a vague way

Probably won't happen but it could be something they may do

god I hope not. 'Doakes died because he caught me, I overpowered him...locked him in a cage...and then my ex girlfriend blew him up.'

I doubt she'll be ok with that.

Anyway. Loved the episode. Glad they had Deb find the slides and knives by the end. Was also afraid they would drag it on. I really cant wait for the big talk where he tells her all about Harry's training.

Packed episode! I'm so glad that this Deb situation isn't being dragged out. That ending was incredible. It's nice to be anticipating Dexter episodes again. Can't say I've felt this invested in Dexter in a loooonng time.

That was a GREAT start for the season. So glad Deb finally knows.

I can't help but thinking how easy it would be for Dexter to just give the information about the blood sample he found in the car about that guy. But no, instead he just wants to get caught again.

Very pleased with the premiere, it's been awhile I felt that the writing and pacing was this top notch, there's zero filler like Deb connecting the dots pretty quickly and it's just packed with tension. I can't wait to see this pans out, perhaps it's much easier now that the end's in sight.

That's the most interesting plot point for me. He seems to be as smart and secretive as Dexter, and he has a specific agenda. He also knows about the connection between Dex and the Ice Truck Killer, but does he know that Dex is/was the BHB?

I don't know about 'very soon'... but it looks like 3 people are after dexter...and the only way hes going to get out of it, is with Debs help... but will she help him?

He is either related to Dexter or the apprentice of the Ice Truck Killer. Either way, I doubt he is someone who "figured it out." He clearly has some sort of history with Dexter's brother.

I dont think it is either of those... I do however think he is going to mimic the ITK and kill Batista's sister.

That's a cool thought. But why would Brian/Rudy have had an apprentice when it looked as if he wanted Dexter to fill that role. I mean, prosthesis specialist and video game designer... I don't see a connection there at least

He wanted Dexter to embrace his dark side. Besides, Dexter was skilled enough that there was no need for him to be his brother's student. So, an argument could be made that Ice Truck Killer had a true apprentice. And the reason I say this is because I think the Intern knows about Dexter's secret. That whole video game of his is a major clue to me.

well this isnt the Saw series... Brian and Dexter are one (err 2) of a kind... born in blood... Brian wasn't much of a sympathetic person... certainly not a teacher.

Riveting episode to open Season 7. Dexter finally has the potential to be like it was in earlier years, like Season 2 and Season 4, and looks like it'll deliver (I'm hopeful anyway).
