Danco is a character who dismembers his victims. Doakes for instance has his tongue removed as well as most of his limbs. He keeps his victims alive throughout.

Yup. I think in order to keep the TV series new and fresh they have to do something like Danco. Maybe it even instills some fear into Dexter.

Yes, but that's not how he is being played in the T.V. show and in the books he tends to be more stimulated than truly disturbed. He intellectualises throught the Dark Passenger actions which would disturb others.

None of series 2 is in the books. Doakes has far less of a role. Doakes is saved by Dexter from Danco.

Not much or in any detail. Let's be honest he could communicate. Stephen Hawkin can, however I don't think he wants to report Dexter.

Nothing like as much, he is a far less important character. This is what I mean about the books being so different. They are also mainly satirical. I haven't finished the third yet. I actually relly am not enjoying it. It's going into mystical territory, I am not keen on for Dexter.

and i think they could disturb dexter in the tv series too, something that messes with his senses...
