Comparisons between Dexter and Prison Break make kittens cry. Dexter is so far superior to that piece of garbage. :o

I think he's sayin in sheer volume total. Prison break season 1 was good, then two was alright, but three was just way to much. He's saying that Dexter is going to be like that.

But he's still wrong.

This show has gotten a ridiculous amount better with the actual filming this season which is something i noticed. The cameras/lighting/angles it's shot in are AMAZING, and REALLY set the mood for the show. And the music is brilliant (although its the same as last season for the most part)

I dont think Dexter season 2 will have the high quality o the first i really think its really been all wrapped up what is the second season going to be about it reminds me of prison break the first season was great the second was good but the third didnt need to be made.

Thought I'd throw a "WTF" in for good measure.

Agreed. This series has the potienal to stay fresh for a few seasons.

it was great man, its a big setup episode for the last 2, very well written and MCH keeps up great performances and was actually scary to me this episode, esp the cabin scenes and what doakes witnesses,

:up:awesome man

great reveal about Harry and Doakes reaction to Dex was way different than what I expected

Well, it looks like Lila's gonna find her way to the cabin. What happens after that should be pretty interesting.

And poor Batista, doesn't even realize he's about to be set up for date rape! Shoulda listened to Dexter!

I loved how Doakes was kinda trying to reason with Dexter, and we don't really know if he was being genuine or just trying to save his own skin. Dexter obviously seems ready to frame Doakes for his killings, but even with Dex dumping evidence with Doakes prints, something else has to happen. Although it might make for an interesting dynamic for next season; a trial!!

Been saying for weeks that Dexter would frame Doakes for the BHB killings. No one seemed to believe me, saying he wouldn't do it because it would be against The Code. As I thought, he found a way to rationalize all that and justify framing Doakes and it did come down to "him or me". Whether he follows through with it or changes his mind about it, he's already put certain things in motion to frame Doakes that cannot be undone (the fingerprints on the murder tools). I have a feeling Lila is going to wind up dead before this season is over, too. They've made her out to be a bad person, now, with the crap she looks to be pulling on Angel and the breaking into Rita's house, so the audience may actually cheer when she finally dies. The emotional seeds for that have been sewn, so to speak. Also looks like they set the stage for Lundy to at least make some guest appearances next season by having him continue his relationship with Deb. Two more episodes and how they wrap all this up is anyone's guess.

I'd like to see Lundy around as a permanent cast member next season. The only two ways I can see that happening are if the BHB murder is still unsolved by that time, or if (and this would be enough to make me not like his sticking around, actually) Lundy quits is high paying federal job and starts working for the police department.

I havent seen ep 11 yet im going to have to treat this thread like kryptonite until then!

episode 11 is this upcoming sunday, unless thats a typo, if thats the case episode 10 is great.

MCH gives another good performance, he was scary as hell at times too.

Oh great! thanks for correcting me I thought last nights ep was 11 time to start DL it!

man after rewatching this episode, i realize its one of my favorites.

dexters dark passenger has complete control and in complete survival mode esp in the cabin scenes, he really is a monster, good flashback to reality to make us realize we arent REALLY supposed to support a serial killer

I hope Doakes escapes somehow and gets his revenge next season.

and I've said it before and i'll say it again, what in the hizhell is wrong with Lyla? If it wasn't for her constant nudity I'd probably hate her.

Just watched the latest. What a great episode.

I thought the acting during the ending scene in particular was fantastic.

I never thought that they'd actually make me sympathize with Doakes, but I'll be damned, I actually want the guy to get away.

i think this episode was meant for us to turn on dexter in a way, the next couple episodes will get us back to loving a serial killer im sure, this episode was meant as a reality check to the fans

Doakes will probably be killed somehow, but not by Dexter, and then Dexter's secret will be safe again, kinda like how on Smallville when someone found out Clark's secret identity they would get in an accident that would kill them.
