so, I'd smash a neighbors light that was shining on my property. She always attacks him on the 'you should be this' or 'you should be like that' front. She's a constant nagger, who used sex to win her man back. Again, I'm really glad the therapist put all the issues into Rita's hands.

Still hate her... but I bet if it wasn't Julie Benz, I'd find the character a little more tolerable.

I'm always going to find your stance on this completely ridiculous. There is no reason for you to hate the character this much, or to wish that someone would 'break her nose' to get her voice to sound normal. :whatever: You have way to much hate for a character that barely gets any screen time.

trinitys daughter is hot.

the scene with dex dragging trinity into the kitchen is now tied for my fav. moment with Dex's hulk out scene last season.

I wonder if Trinity's son/family knows about the serial killings? His son called him a murderer....

He called him a killer, and he meant it figuratively, as after calling him a killer he went on to say that Arthur is basically killing the family by being a weirdo.

That ****ty daughter was something else, eh? haha

superfreak rita has not been *****y or naggy for several episodes now and has kept to herself i dont see the reason to hate

Yea the belt drag scene is right up there with the Doakes head-butt for me. "Get the **** off of him!!" I seriously got so tense watching that I started shaking. And the look on Trinitys face when Dex said "I shouldve ****ing killed you when I had the chance" Was great. He was truly taken aback by it and he looked absolutely petrified. I mean Dex dragged a 6'4" man by a belt around his neck what at least 20 ft or so? This has been by far the best season of the show yet imho. The first 2 were amazing and 3 was good but this season has been absolutely outstanding. I cannot wait to see how the final 3 eps unfold

Have to disagree, this season has been the far less interesting then the others.

My favorite scene from the series is probably the Dexter-Doakes fight on the pier when Doakes confronts Dexter for the first time after he knows what Dexter is.

My second favorite is one that happens a short time later when Doakes just has to sit in the cage while Dexter takes the criminal apart.

what a freaking GREAT episode. how can an episode that started so mundane turn into something so unbelieably awesome? WOW!

agreed with the above post.

Disagree with this being the best season. my least favorite actually, but at least it finally got interesting halfway through.

'let's all say what we're thankful for'

dexter - ' 'NO!'

LOL! HA! HA! that's top class!

Best all season and makes up for and validate a few of the previous, slower entries.

Hell, I haven't been as gripped by an episode since the season one finale

The dinner scene was arguably the best Dexter scene of all time

like I said above: If the part wasn't played by Benz, I'd probably enjoy the character much more. I don't think she can act. I don't think I've ever seen her in anything where she was good. IMO, she was most tolerable as the wife in Punisher Warzone. I'm not saying she's not a hottie, she's a beautiful woman. But I find Benz usually comes across as sub standard (as far as actors are concerned). Ie. Rambo 4, when she is the worst part of a relatively bad movie, it's not very impressive.

and when I say break her nose: I mean a doctor should do it, so that she can actually pass air through her nostrils, and her voice will return to normal.

moving on: Does anyone think that Arthur is bipolar, with a multiple personality? Very unlike Dexter. They are both psychos clearly, but Dex seems to be in control, but lacks morals. Arthur on the other hand seems very unbalanced. Manic Depressive most certainly, as exemplified in the restaurant in Tampa.

Yeah for sure. It's funny how in the beginning Dex saw himself as a younger version of Trinity...ar the very least, someone to aspire too.

Now he sees beyond the exterior of Trinity's life and despises what he sees. I got goose bumps when Dex lost it in the car on the way back home.

could this be a reason why Arthur's family loves him, but also fears him? Because he is two extreme personalities?

His personality disorder was discussed a few pages back...it's definitely there, though.

yeah, I was behind... I watched all of S4 right up til 10 on sunday, then caught the newest epi.

I have to ask;

How many of you pervs would have taken Trinity's daughter up on her offer? :oldrazz:

thanksgiving dinner was crazy with Arthurs family, you can tell the mom doesn't like the daughter, and Arthur got pissed cause no one thanked him lol

I would tag the mother like no tomorrow. The daughter is way to young.

I'd go with the other daughter. The reporter. It already feels like I know her well enough, what with a breast flash every second episode pretty much.

It's been an up and down season for me. It keeps alternating good/decent to meh episode. The subplots with Angel/LaGuerta, Quinn/Reporter, give me a break.

Trinity has been a great character to study, the last few episodes I felt the writers didn't know what they doing having his massive personality shifts, but the most recent one solidified his character's horrifying nature like it did in the first 3-4 episodes.
